Guest guest
Hello Narasimha: I watched the debate. Kerry destroyed Bush, Bush looked like an insecure, whiny school kid in front of Kerry. The CNN as well as Fox opinion polls this morning confirm that Kerry convincingly beat Bush. Now, amongst all the Jyotishas, you, in my opinion, are one of the most honest. So, why did you join the band-wagon of making predictions based on popular public opinion? Off course, before the debate, the public expected Bush to beat Kerry so EVERY astrologer out there predicted that Bush'll beat Kerry, but the opposite happened. Same is the case with US elections. The popular public opinion is that Bush will win. So, I'm sure all the hot and heavy Jyotishas like Sanjay Rath, KN Rao, etc. etc. will predict a victory for Bush. Same thing happened with BJP loss in the Indian elections. The popular public opinion said that BJP will have a land-slide victory and EVERY known astrologer in India predicted a BJP win. -- They all saw Raj-yogs in the charts of BJP, Vajpai and Advani--and the sad thing is that they were all working with different charts for the same individuals--noone to this day knows what the correct charts, yet all of these charts showed Raj-yogs for BJP and its leaders. What happened to all these Raj-yogs? The sad thing is that after their predictions on BJP victory, NO ONE came forward and said that they had predicted based on popular public opinion and NOT Jyotish. However, almost every astrologer whose prediction had failed came up with a post-moterm of why their prediction went wrong!!!!!! What would happen if a surgeon performed the wrong surgery on a patient and later justified his faliure by looking at the same patient and finding reasons for his faliure???--he would be facing serious medical mal-practice lawsuits. How about this Narasimha--why don't you predict when will India be able to get out of the clutches of the congress government run by criminals, traitors and communists????? Why don't you see the chart of India and explain why India keeps on falling into the hands of crooked congressmen over and over and over again????? First Nehru ruined India, then his daughter Indira ruined India, then her son Rajiv ruined India and now India fell into the hands of Rajiv's wife Sonia who has surrounded herself with some of the most corrupt, backward and criminal minded people on India. India with its huge highly-educated English speaking workforce could have been like Hong-Kong, but is still a 3rd world country? Are there some horrible yogs in India's chart that saints like Morarji Desai, Jayaprakash Narayan, Vajpayee and Advani are booted out of the government and corrupt politicians are taking over in their place OVER and OVER again? Why don't you take up a challenge like this rather than put out predictions based on popular public opinion? Mukund vedic astrology, "Narasimha P.V.R. Kerry's main challenge was to dispel the noton so successfully planted in the minds of people by the Bush campaign that Kerry was a flip-flopper and a waffler. This chart has Cancer rising. The hora lord is Sun. So Sun is the ruler of the day. Sun is in the 3rd house. While Mercury in 2nd in Kerry's case shows eloquence and fluenct speech, Sun in 3rd in Bush's case shows a strong, determined and a scathing approach. Guest guest
Dear Mukund, If you think Kerry "destroyed" Bush in the debate, it is simply your view. None of the political commentators I read or heard held that view. Everybody said it was close and everybody said neither emerged with a clear advantage. Some said Kerry had a narrow win in the debate and some said Bush did. While it is true that more commentators thought Kerry did a little better, it is certainly a figment of imagination to say that Kerry "destroyed" Bush. That is certainly not the mainstream view. In Kerry's own backyard, a political commentator wrote in Boston Globe: "Presidential debates can be more about which man is more likable and trustworthy, and last night Kerry seemed tight and drawn compared to the more relaxed Bush. I believe Senator Kerry's position on all the issues -- Iran, Iraq, North Korea, and the Sudan -- were superior to President Bush's, but my guess is that Bush came across as the strong leader he meant to project, and that Kerry did not manage to seriously dent his armor." More than the unscientific opinion polls conducted by ABC, NBC, BBC etc, opinion polls where the sample space is controlled statistically give a better indication of who gained from the debate. BTW, I did not predict that Bush would beat Kerry as you say every astrologer did. I only predicted that it will be a close debate and Bush may come out of it with a "little" advantage. The former is certainly true according to all commentaries. The latter may have been wrong, but we will know for sure only after a few days. May Jupiter's light shine on us, Narasimha > Hello Narasimha: > > I watched the debate. Kerry destroyed Bush, Bush looked like an > insecure, whiny school kid in front of Kerry. Guest guest
Dear Mukund, There is nothing wrong in Narasimha predicting and may be even failing. This is how a good astrologer hones his skills. Fallibility is an in built factor in any predictive science. I and many other have also predicted political events and failed and succeeded at various points of time in our lives. You should admire his courage of putting his prediction under public scrutiny, knowing that he could as well be shown wrong within less than 24 Hours. My personal feeling is that Narasimha is trying to test his Tithi Pravesha system of prediction and think this is the right way to go about it. One must also remember that Politician's birth data is rarely available with the degree of accuracy needed. I too have predicted at Puri conference when reuter asked me, that President Bush will loose the election and this could be on account of some wrong doing of his associates and on account of Prisoners of War held at Guantanamo bay (Iraq had not happened by that time and his opponent, also, was not known). I could fail or be proved right, only time will tell. Regards, Chandrashekhar. monmuk111 wrote: Hello Narasimha: I watched the debate. Guest guest
Dear Chandraji: It refreshing to know that you've predicted a loss for Bush in the upcoming elections (even when the opponent wasn't known). This I like, you've gone against the popular public opinion, this speaks of a lot of courage on your part. Most Jyotishas are predicting a win for Bush which is a SURE thing. I think I was incorrect in thinking that Narasimha was attepting to gain Jyotish glory by predicting what was already SO obvious. Now, I see your point, he may have been testing his Tithi Pravesh theory. Thanks for writing to me.
