Guest guest
Dear Prabodh, As far as the maran karaka sthan (MKS) of grahas are concern, these placements are alloted due to * their exl/deb or of their dispositor. * features/nature they contain. * being 12th from their Karaka bhava. For the Sun 12th house is the MKS. In natural zodiace 12th (Pisces) is the exaltation sign of Venus and it the very sign of Venus(Libra) where the Sun going to be debilited. Also 12th is the house for bed plesure and Sun stands for self/soul/dharma as well. Self/dharma destroy at the places of sextual plesures. Moreover Sun the karaka of first house, and its 12th is the MKS for it. Simiilarly you can figure out the reasoning behind MKS of other grahas. By the way if the Sun is into 12th and (associated or aspected by Venus & Saturn) then one must be careful in extra marital relations !
