Hello,

Jupiter in 11th will generally make you first born.

Keeping company of saints for people with 11th

house placement of Jupiter bringing poverty seems like a Nadi

observation.

11th Jupiter tends to give you interest in OTHER WOMEN

or MEN and tends to make you look beyond

the fence of Marital boundry.

Being with father bringing you happiness (Inheritance from father)

might be due to the fact that 11th is 3rd from 9th. Hence father

might be the only son or last son and may have better share of

ancestral property than other siblings.

So it is better not to leave the side of father.

Saint part escapes comprehension of self.

Dear Rahul,

I think the first parameter could be correct since Guru aspects 5th

house representing Son/shishya/ one seeking blessings. Jupiter being

Lord of the natural 9th house would indicate increase in income on

account of father. Associating with saint bringing penury does not

seem to have any logic.

Dear Vatsa,,

Why would Guru in 11th give a roving eye, when he would be aspecting

the 7th house and thus extending his protection to that part of a

person's life?

Dear Tatvam Asi.

Can you please explain the rationale behind "interest in OTHER WOMEN or MEN

and tends to make you look beyond the fence of Marital boundary"? I though

aspect on 7H will keep the relationship within dharmic boundaries!

Thanks and Regards

I don't feel Jupiter in 11th will make one first born. With regard to

saints, I don't think it is true.

One aspect of Jupiter is to make a person greedy and blindfolded

(temporarily). In a chart where Jupiter is in 11th or 5th, the native will

become jealous and loses the ability to judge between right and wrong. This

however is applicable, if Jupiter is malefic.

The native can be compared to Dhratharashtra (in Mahabharatha).

Dhratharashtra will become so fond of his son that he forgets what is right

and what is wrong. The first sloka of Bhagawad Gita gives a clear picture.

The sloka is as follows:

Dhratarashtra Uvacha

"Dharmakshetre Kuruksetre samavetah yuyutsavaha

Mamakah pandavaschiva kimakurvatha sanjaya"

This can be understood as

Dhratarashtra says:

In the land of Dharma (he contradicts when he himself is practicing

Adharma), which belongs to the Kurus, assembled and eager (note the

terminology used - eager) to battle, Mine and Pandu sons (Here, he

differentiates between his and his brother's sons. Pandu is his brother and

Pandu's sons are naturally like his sons. He is so much fond of his son,

that he starts differentiating, and which eventually led to the Great War),

are doing, Sanjaya

Let us consider Jupiter's position in 11th for all ascendants.

Aries: Jupiter as lord of 9th and 12th is Benefic. If placed in 11th, he

will be in the house of Saturn. He will be good and be a philanthropic.

Taurus: Jupiter as lord of 8th and 11th is Malefic. As lord of the 11th, in

the 11th, he will become very greedy, but financially will be well off.

Gemini: Jupiter as lord of 7th and 10th will be a kendradhipathi. His

presence in 11th will land him in a friend's house. The native will not be

well off, but will undertake good deeds.

Cancer: Jupiter as lord of 6th and 9th becomes neutral. In 11th, he will be

in the house of Venus, his enemy and not do much good. The native could have

more enemies and debt. If influenced by Mars, can produce Yoga.

Leo: Jupiter as lord of 5th and 8th becomes malefic. Jupiter in the 11th

will land him in Mercury's house. The native will have uneven income and

will be fond of pleasures.

Virgo: Jupiter as the lord of 4th and 7th will become kendradhipathi. In

11th, he will be in house of the Moon. The person will be God-fearing and

will undertake charitable deeds. Moon in 2nd house can give rise to Yoga.

Libra: Jupiter as the lord of 3rd and 6th will become malefic. In 11th, he

will increase debts and enemies. He will be first born and will be easily

offended.

Scorpio: Jupiter as the lord of 2nd and 5th is the best benefic. His

presence in 11th will give rise to Yoga. He will make the native ambitious.

Sagittarius: Jupiter as Lagnadhipathi and 4th lord, in 11th will make the

person highly ambitious, open-minded and unassuming.

Capricorn: Jupiter as the 3rd and 12th lord makes him a malefic. In 11th,

the native will be Casanova. He is usually unhappy. Presence of Mars in 11th

will not result in Yoga.

Aquarius: Jupiter as the lord of 2nd and 11th is malefic. In 11th, he will

give rise to Yoga and make the native rich and influential. The native will

also involve in inappropriate acts.

Pisces: Jupiter as Lagnadhipathi and 10th lord in 11th will make the native

greedy and jealous.

Hope this helps.

Hello Sri Raman ,

Please understand that NO RULE IN ASTROLOGY IS WITHOUT EXCEPTIONS.

Self has posted a lot on Jupiter which you might have had a chance to

read.

Principle of Bhava Nasha Karo Jeeva....

has been found by self as holding true in majority of cases.

Thus Guru destroys(To a larger or smaller extent) the bhava where he

sits.

Self is of opinion that Guru acts (as white ant destoying the inner

wood) and any other bad period/dasa etc cracks and destroys the Bhava

indication.

Thus Guru weakens any bhava where he sits to such an extent that that

bhava indications suffer.

Coming to question of Guru, yes you are absolutely right.

Guru in 11th makes a person a perfact opportunist and this Guru may

make him not to let any opportunity just GO ....even if that is

something like jumping the boundry of Morality.

Self knows cases with 11th Guru people who look very SADHU and pious.

But at the first given opportunity, they do not mind cheating their

spouses.

Due to reasons their birth data is not posted here.

Om Namo Narayanaya,

Guru in 11th house will make a person just, principled and honoured, unless

afflicted of course. His aspect on 5th house is good, so there is no way

that his judgement will be limited. There is a problem howerer particularly

for female charts where guru rules 9th house of kaal purush and is placed

in natural badhak sthan creating obstacles with childbirth. If you don't

mind, I will add some words, though I prefer not to give general effects

of planets in bhavas, which stand to change in each chart.

Let us consider Jupiter's position in 11th for all ascendants.Aries: Jupiter as

lord of 9th and 12th is Benefic. If placed in 11th, hewill be in the house of

Saturn. He will be good and be a philanthropic.

Badhak sthan, female born will have child-related problems. After a child

birth a possible divorce, unless guru is placed in own/exalted navamsa..

What do you think way?

Taurus: Jupiter as lord of 8th and 11th is Malefic. As lord of the 11th, inthe

11th, he will become very greedy, but financially will be well off.

Financially, just enough not well off. Finance are given by position of Saturn

and Mercury. Also Venus in 2nd house along with Jupiter in 11th for Taurus

natives will give wealth. If venus is placed in 5th/11th houses a great spiritual

potentials are seen. If venus is placed in 9th/or 3rd house a person may

attain name and fame.

Gemini: Jupiter as lord of 7th and 10th will be a kendradhipathi. Hispresence in

11th will land him in a friend's house. The native will not bewell off, but will

undertake good deeds.

Rewards and titles can be obtained abroad, while mercury in 3rd and 9th

promotes status and in 5th gives spiritual aptitude. If venus is in 11th,

marital bliss will be lacking. Finance will be excellent only if mars is

in 11th too, and mercury in 4th.

In this manner you should think, and apply all other principles to see the

real impact of guru for all lagnas

Best wishes

Zoran

Cancer: Jupiter as lord of 6th and 9th becomes neutral. In 11th, he will bein

the house of Venus, his enemy and not do much good. The native could havemore

enemies and debt. If influenced by Mars, can produce Yoga.

Leo: Jupiter as lord of 5th and 8th becomes malefic. Jupiter in the 11thwill

land him in Mercury's house. The native will have uneven income andwill be fond

of pleasures.Virgo: Jupiter as the lord of 4th and 7th will become

kendradhipathi. In11th, he will be in house of the Moon. The person will be

God-fearing andwill undertake charitable deeds. Moon in 2nd house can give rise

to Yoga.Libra: Jupiter as the lord of 3rd and 6th will become malefic. In 11th,

hewill increase debts and enemies. He will be first born and will be

easilyoffended.Scorpio: Jupiter as the lord of 2nd and 5th is the best benefic.

Hispresence in 11th will give rise to Yoga. He will make the native

ambitious.Sagittarius: Jupiter as Lagnadhipathi and 4th lord, in 11th will make

theperson highly ambitious, open-minded and unassuming.Capricorn: Jupiter as the

3rd and 12th lord makes him a malefic. In 11th,t

he native will be Casanova. He is usually unhappy. Presence of Mars in 11thwill

not result in Yoga.Aquarius: Jupiter as the lord of 2nd and 11th is malefic. In

11th, he willgive rise to Yoga and make the native rich and influential. The

native willalso involve in inappropriate acts.Pisces: Jupiter as Lagnadhipathi

and 10th lord in 11th will make the nativegreedy and jealous.Hope this helps.Om

Dear Nameisego,

Namasthe!

I have my own reservations with reference to the principle of "Bhava Nasha

Karo Jeeva". In my humble experience, I have found Jupiter to cause damage

when it is a malefic/ill-placed and not always.

The dictum "Devejyo Gnanasukhado" indicates that Jupiter confers Knowledge

and Happiness. Another dictum to second this is as follows: "Devaacharyah

Soukyavignaanasarah".

Jupiter in the 11th, if afflicted, will definitely make him greedy and

jealous. I would want to take a look at the horoscopes that you have (with

Jupiter in 11th). Can you kindly give the chart details?
