Namaste,

Let us consider Swami Jayendra Saraswathi's dasamsa chart (activities in

society). Let us consider the happenings of August-Sept 1987 (he left the math

without informing anyone and left his danda and kamandala there). Let us

consider the SC dasa cycle of 1983-1995.

Sudarsana Chakra Dasa of D-10 (Lagna:Moon:Sun):

Maha Dasas:

Sc:Pi:Pi: 1983-07-19 (2:07:51) - 1984-07-18 (8:24:47) Sg:Ar:Ar: 1984-07-18

(8:24:47) - 1985-07-18 (14:28:24) Cp:Ta:Ta: 1985-07-18 (14:28:24) - 1986-07-18

(20:34:56) Aq:Ge:Ge: 1986-07-18 (20:34:56) - 1987-07-19 (2:43:15) Pi:Cn:Cn:

1987-07-19 (2:43:15) - 1988-07-18 (8:51:10) <<<< Ar:Le:Le: 1988-07-18 (8:51:10)

- 1989-07-18 (15:06:29) Ta:Vi:Vi: 1989-07-18 (15:06:29) - 1990-07-18 (21:10:25)

Ge:Li:Li: 1990-07-18 (21:10:25) - 1991-07-19 (3:18:29) Cn:Sc:Sc: 1991-07-19

(3:18:29) - 1992-07-18 (9:37:10) Le:Sg:Sg: 1992-07-18 (9:37:10) - 1993-07-18

(15:43:40) Vi:Cp:Cp: 1993-07-18 (15:43:40) - 1994-07-18 (21:49:07) Li:Aq:Aq:

1994-07-18 (21:49:07) - 1995-07-19 (3:59:08)

The dasamsa based SC dasa that started on 19 July 1987 belongs to Pi (reckoned

from lagna) and to Cn (reckoned from Moon or Sun).

Now let us see from the progressed lagna. We have to judge the positions at the

beginning of the year, from the dasa sign. You can make the dasamsa chart at

2:43:15 am on 19 July 1987. In that chart, Pisces contains Sun and Rahu. Rahu

destroys whichever house he occupies. From Pisces (progressed dasamsa lagna),

Rahu is in 1st. Please note that this is lagna and not Sun. So it does not mean

bad fame. Instead, it means bad judgment. Rahu in progressed lagna clouds the

judgment. In fact, he eclipses Sun in 1st here. So poor judgment and illusion

of material things (Rahu) clouds the judgment (1st) and eclipses the atma bala

(Sun). Saturn in 12th from Pisces is badly placed. It shows rejection of

sannyasa during the year.

May Jupiter's light shine on us,

Narasimha
