Had you issued it on the day Swamiji was arrested, I would have signed it without blinking my eye lid. But over the past weeks we have seen court after court upholding the prosecution case and denying a bail to the Swamiji. Even if we say that the case is politically motivated, It is hard to believe that all the courts are against Hindus and part of a conspiracy to trap the Swamiji. While I pray that these doubts may prove wrong and Swamiji comes out flawless, at this juncture I find it difficult to sign the petition. I hope you take it in the spirit I mean and not construe this in any way as any disrespect to you or the Swamiji. Guest guest Posted December 8, 2004 Report Share Posted December 8, 2004 Hare Rama Krishna Dear Sanjayji, i signed the petition, before and i am ready to sign it once again if required. i want to do this because, not giving bail is based on the seiousness of the charges (masterminding murder) and not much a judgement on Swamiji Himself. Supreme court lawer, on Prosecution side, has always been pleading with courts that if bail is ganted in this case it would be a violation of Supreme court guidelines etc.,(High court judge in todays TOI report speaks about the restrictions under certain sections of IPC) Those who masterminded this whole thing have done their homework very well.
