Dear Shri.Tatvam-Asi,

Sorry for the interruption, I have gone through the case study chart of the Lady

as cited by you against example 2, who is said to have born on the 14th June

1967 @ 13hrs. Bangalore.

I have a genuine doubt that how the Sani could be attributed for her widow-hood?

Will it not be appropriate to make the Sun as responsible for her widow-hood?

Request you to kindly re-examine your synthesis.

Dear Guptaji,

Probably you are saying this because of Sun's position in D-9.

Sun's functional role in Kanya lagan has been described as Karak by

some and as Akarak by others. Even taking its worst form, it may bring

matrimonial discord but not death. And since this lady was married in

her Sun's dasa, it rules out Sun as the planet responsible for her

widowhood.

The widowhood of the lady is confirmed by Rahu in her eighth house and

lagnesh Jupiter in eighth house in the Navmas, Besides Saturn in the

seventh house in Kanya lagan is considerably harmful also having

digbal. Ordinarily Saturn in the 7th does not bring death to the

spouse, though it may delay the marriage or bring in an old spouse or

even matrimonial maladjustment. But the special case of Kanya lagan is

in my opinion responsible for strength to Saturn for bringing death to

the husband in her Bukhti.

The widowhood came somewhere in 96-97 in Moon Saturn dasa. How Moon

comes in, I am not figuring out as yet except for its conjunction with

Mars, the despositor of Venus in NM.

I would like to have your comments.

Dear Shri.Tatvam-Asi,

Kindly go through the correspondence below, which took place between you and

Shri.RameshMishra Where in you have referred him a random example II ,

furnishing the Bangalore Girls birth data as 14 .6 . 1967 @ 13hrs born at

Bangalore, further you have contended that the Sani in her 7th house ‘widowed

her with in seven or eight years of marriage ‘.

Now I am only questioning you that how could you attribute that Sani is

responsible for her widow-hood? Kindly substantiate your stand point by quoting

relevant classical reference.

Dear Shri.Razdanji,

For Kanya Lagn Sukra & Sani are functional benefic – Chandra, Man gal and Guru

are functional malefic as well as Marakas, if posted in 2nd, 3rd, 7th, 8th and

12th houses.

The above are the Lagn based dictums available to me in classics like ‘Sundarasekaram ‘

‘Jathakachandrika’etc.,

I agree that the native could be termed as Kalathra dosa Jathake, her husband would be pre-deceased.

In terms of sloka 39 under Shreejathka Athyaya in Jaathagathvaa, under the caption

‘Vaithavya K aala’it is said that when a malefic is placed in the 8th house, the 8th Lord’s

Depositor in the Amsa would inflect death to the native’s husband ‘.In the

instant case 8th Lord’s Depositor Sun did not lay His icey hands on the

native’s husband for the reasons best known to the MahaRishis .

In the functional malefic Moon’s dasa, Sani acts as Kaarak (Sundarasekaram), as

Sani the functional benefic, being placed in Ashta-Sahtaka to the dasa lord ,

should enclave her with Sadness, pensiveness according to Braghat Paaraasra

samkitha .When the functional benefic Sani inflects death to her husband , we

should treat It as an arrow and reason that the bow lies with the 5th house (

refer to sloka 2 under Kalathra Bhava in Jaathaka Paladeepikaa which narrates

that when the Lord of the 5th house posted in the 7th house, native would

experience loss of Kalathra ).From the above we could visualize that regardless

of Sani ,any other gragha becoming the Lord of the 5th house when posted in the

7th house, it would harm the native’s life partner. Hence my contention is that

by treating Sani as a natural malefic, should not be blamed for the widow-hood

of the native, but we should blame any Lord of the 5th house when finds a place

in the 7th house .
