Guest guest
|Hare Räma Kåñëa| Actually you are right the Varëada lagna is not in Taurus – good of you to point out. Infact the Varëada Lagna cannot fall in the lagna or signs of the same oddity. Pisces is accurate if you use degrees. Let’s calculate this from the beginning. Hora lagna (using the apparents upper limb of sunrise) is in Capricorn and Lagna is in Taurus. Count in reverse from Pisces to cap and you get 3. Count in reverse from Pisces to Taurus and you get 11. Both are even so they must be added; 11+3 is 14. remove multiples of 12 and you get 2. As lagna is an even sign, this must be counted in reverse from Pisces, i.e. Aquarius is the 2nd from Pisces. Now the rest of the reading (from the qoute) becomes the same, but it is quite important that the Varëada lagna itself has changed – this was an oversight of my own and where I took 2nd from aries instead of 2nd from pisces (in reverse). I use lahiri ayanamsa.
