Dear Friends, Learned Members, Namaste,

In response to several questions I got;

The conjunction according to my software will occur, at 9:42:17 GMT

(Greenwich) on June 8, which should be +5:30 hours for India, e.g.

15:12:17.

According to my humble view, the effect should be according to how

Shukra (Venus) is posited in the natal chart (e.g. where it is

posited, associations, and the houses She is ruling), but in general,

since Shukra will be retrograde and combust (exact), things having to

do, with women, relationships, conveyances, luxuries, food and eating

(e.g. restaurants etc.), beauty items, fashion, arts etc. could be

somewhat negatively affected. Since Shukra will be in Vrishabha

(Taurus) Rashi, own Rashi, this will strengthen Shukra (e.g. ward off

some evil effects), Budha (Mercury) will also be there, hence some

connection with communications, speech, friends etc. and Surya (Sun)

conjoining Shukra may bring in things to deal with large

organizations, the government and other., some self-issues in

communicating with women etc.

On the other hand, in the following is some positive indications I

got from another list; which was posted there taken from a website.

The analysis is from a Western Astrology point of view, but I wanted

to include it, since it seemed to be interesting.

With my best wishes, and respects to learned members,

Adnan Sabri.

Venus-Sun Transit on June 8th

> The Consciousness and Energy of the

> Earth Plane will Change

>

> The Sun and Venus joining in Gemini in the star Mrigasia on June

8th

> will create a remarkable configuration of the planets and Sun that

> will change the consciousness of the earth. This is a very

auspicious

> time.

> The Venus Transit

> The Venus Transit of June 8, 2004 is the astronomical event of the

> year where the planet Venus passes between the Earth and the Sun -

a

> sort of eclipse. This Venus-Sun transit always lasts for 6-7 hours

and

> occurs in pairs separated by exactly 8 earth years minus two days,

> then again every 120 years. Historically, the Venus Transit has

always

> preceded great breakthroughs in human consciousness and played a

> significant role in the Mayan Calendar. It is also a turning point

in

> the Vedic tradition. According to many avatars including Baba Sri

Siva

> the Venus Transit of 2004 will mark the starting point of the

Golden

> Age, a process that will come to a conclusion at the next Venus

> Transit in 2012. Coincidentally the Mayan Calendar ends in the year

> 2012, marking the ending of Time as we know it, the ending of the

Kali

> Yuga.

> This time period will witness the hearts and minds of millions of

> humans to change toward that of light and enlightenment. What does

> this mean? Miracles will take place; humans will feel and allow

their

> compassion, kindness, love and forgiveness to shine forth. As

> mentioned in the Lord's Prayer "Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done,

on

> earth as it is in heaven". This is the time for heaven's kingdom to

> descend to earth plane.

> The transits have occurred historically and below are a list of the

> years of the most recent occurrences, where the second transit in

the

> pair is given within parentheses:

>

>

> 1518 (1526)

> 1631 (1639)

> 1761 (1769)

> 1874 (1882)

>

> 2004 (2012)

> The previous transits each marked a significant occurrence that

> changed the consciousness of the earth plane.

> 1518 - The first circumnavigation of the globe by Magellan/del Cano

> was launched. Their journey proved that the world was not flat, but

> spherical. This also marked the belief humans inhabited the entire

> globe. Skepticism lifted and it was said to have been the first

step

> in the development of a global brain.

> 1631 - The emergence of the first national mail services (Denmark,

> 1624; Sweden, 1636) and so also seems to be associated with human

> communications. Written communication over long distances was the

next

> step to creating a smaller world.

> 1761 - The transit of Venus across the Sun was observed in 77

> different places by astronomers looking to measure the distance to

the

> sun. This was the first international collaboration project ever in

> science. Yet another example of global communion.

> 1874 - The founding of the World Post Union, and the completion of

the

> Atlantic telegraph cable, which both marked fundamental steps in

the

> development of global communications. Bell had his first idea of a

> telephone. Swami Ramalingam, a South Indian Tamil Siddha master,

> turned his body into light as witnessed by the British. In 1874

> Ramalingam made his final entry into Light and said that he is

going

> to get into everyone's consciousness to evolve and change the world.
