Dear Gurus:

1) What day does Navratri begin in the US?

2) Which is the better mantra to worship Ma Durga in addition to

reciting Durga Sapta Sloki during the nine nights?

--"Om Rheem Shreem Kleem Durgati-nashinyay Maha-mayay Swaha," OR

--"Aim Rheem Shreem Kleem Chamundaya Vichayee."

Thanks.

Mukund

Can you please point me to the source you are quoting from?

I have been told for a long time and in the impression that Sri Rama and Ravana

during their battle engaged in using "Pratyangira vidya" on each other. Since, I

have been looking for relevant material to substantiate.

warm regards,

Vishnu
