Thanks Vinita for the clarifications.

Agreeing.

Placement of FB in (3,6) enhance the karak-tattva of the planet concerned

and in (8,12) it got diminished.

So taking an example- for Leo lagna, Sun being FB in 3rd(Li) will lose its

strength as it is in debilitation in the house lorded by Ve (Sun's natural

enemy). However, being placed in 3rd, karak-tattva of Sun will enhance

significantly.

Now what if Sun is with Ve in 3rd (Li)? Ve is strong being NB & FM in its

owned dushthana house. How much importance should we give to Sun's

karak-tattva?

Hope to listen more from learned ones.

with due regards

Respected gurus,

"It may act in both ways". What are the factors that govern that it

acts in one way and not another? This is a very pertinent question

which deserves a longer discussion / lenthier answer.

The placement of a FB in 3 and 6 (upachaya houses) may result in

different type of result compared to its placement in 8 and 12.

Secondly, if planets are percieved as sources of a particular type of

energy their intrinsic strenth will first have to be determined

before the effect can be guaged.

Thirdly, probably one will have to see how afflicted the house is

where the FB is placed. A strong FB placed in a house not so badly

afflicted may have enough energy to neutralise the effect of

the "bad" house and also do some good to the house it owns and vice-

versa???

These are mere conjectures which need confirmation from the gurus, pl.
