Guest guest
Jaya Jagannatha Dear Satyabhama, The entire English collection (67 books now) can be got through Banarsidas for +/- US$1,300 (after 30% discount bank rate rupee equivalent) they will be much cheaper than buying them through other agents, I guess. The agent I bought the books from, are in Vrindavan who gave me the discount and air freighted them out for me. If you do not need the entire collection, you may source other obscure translators through various publishers in India. Best wishes, Swee Satyabhama Gupta wrote: >Hi, > >Can anyone please provide me some info on the English translation of >Purnas (18)? > >Where can I find them? Guest guest
Dear Satyabhama, The better translations are with Chaukhamba (official publishers of BHU). Try them. I don't know whether they have a web site. They have a outlet in Delhi, right next to Motilal in fact. Or of course you can tap Choukhamba directly in Benaras. The Motilal set is very flimsy and unreliable. Don't tell me that's investment down the drain :-( BTW, what does BHU mean? love, Swee
