Guest guest
Dear all especially Gurus, One thing about Narayana Dasa is getting me very confused, and I think I see contradictory answers in different places. Let me give you a little detail of a Rasi chart - not the whole detail because I want to isolate the effects of Narayana Dasa prediction. Please read carefully, because I think many may have been confused by this type of problem. My Rasi chart has Aquarius Lagna. 10L Mars is in 8H. Currently, I am going through Pisces Narayana Dasa. Pisces is 2H. Now, given that Narayana dasa plots movemement of Lagna through the chart, my effective Lagna for this period is Pisces. Ruler Jupiter is in Cancer. So WHEN LOOKING FROM PISCES AS LAGNA, we have the following: 1) Ruler of 1 and 10 exalted in 5H. 2) Ruler of 9 (Mars) in Marana Karaka Sthana i.e. 7H. Now, what does this mean: 1) If you predict using the NATAL house meanings, then my career house ruler, i.e. Mars is in Marana Karaka Sthana FOR THIS NARAYANA DASA. Should mean struggles at the very least, no? 2) If you predict using the CURRENT NARAYANA dasa house meanings, my current career house ruler, i.e. Jupiter is exalted in the 5th house. Should be an absolutely wonderful time for career, no? As you can see, the results are COMPLETELY contradictory depending on what path you adopt to interpret the results. So the question is - during the Narayan dasa, do the original houses retain their meaning or not? I would be very confused if you answered that they do not - because then each Narayana dasa should be completely different, almost like a different chart (i.e. in one dasa you become Bill Gates, and in another a pauper - the reality is that for most people the variations are not that extreme).
