My attempt at Case analysis for Longevity and ailment.

Satyam Bruyat Priyam Bruyat

 

Dear Shri Chandrashekharji and learned members,

 

I am enclosing a birth-chart of a child who passed away at a young age.

 

DOB: 7th May 1993

TOB: 19: 48

POB: Mumbai. 72E50, 18N58

 

The child was suffering from Blood cancer. Initial treatment of about 3 years

gave an impression that he was cured. The problem however resurfaced, affected

his brain cells and turned fatal. The child was taken away from Mumbai to

Lonavala so that he can be kept away from air pollution expected during Diwali.

His health however worsened and he had to be brought back for hospitalization.

The end came soon thereafter.

 

I have attempted an analysis to this chart for Longevity and disease. My

observations are as follows:

 

Debilitated Moon and Rahu in lagna. Lagna aspected by Saturn with no benefic

aspect. BPHS states that weak Moon with a malefic in 1st house indicates early

end. In this case both are debilitated and further aspected Saturn.

 

Lagna lord Mars is debilitated in 9th house. AK Sun though exalted is placed in

6th house. It is debilitated in Navamsa.

 

Afflicted Moon also indicates blood disorder; especially affliction by Saturn

would show disease that leads to decay and consequent suffering. Rahu may be

responsible for deception (cure and relapse!). Saturn in 2nd Kauluka may show

the hair loss that goes with treatment of the disease.

 

D30 lagna is Saturn showing ‘Born to suffer’. Saturn is placed in 8H with Mandi

and Gulika! Mars in 7th may lead to death.

 

Native passed away on 30th Oct 03 during Mercury-Venus-Rahu- dasa. Mercury is

8L, Venus is a strong malefic and a Marka. Rahu is primarily responsible for

affliction of the Moon. Saturn was transiting through 8H and Rahu through 6H. I

am not sure if these transits had a major role to play in timing of the event. I

shall appreciate if receiving your comments.

 

The 3 pair method however does not give a very clear indication of longevity in

this case. I am not sure if this method should be used in case of combination

showing early demise.

 

LL and 8L are both in movable sign indicating long life. Moon and Saturn are

both in fixed signs indicating short life. Asc and HL are in fixed and Duel

sign indicating mid life span. The overall combination would show mid life

span!
