Guest guest
Jaya Jagannatha Dear Rafal, Dear Guru-ji's. How to judge strength of planet in divisional charts ? 1) First work out the Yoga between Sun and Moon. Refer to Narasimha's Book 2) See which are the planets that are Yogadas. A Mahayogada would give you best results provided the Sun and Moon are strong. Do this in rasi, then Navamsha before you proceed to other vargas. Activation will be during their relevant dasas and subs. How is Your experience ? 3) Very telling if you follow the above If there are 4 planets in one house how to know which is the strongest ? 4) The one that has advanced in degrees. For working out Narayan Dasa I suppose we do it by ASHTAKAVARGA ? 5) Good for transits. Do You agree ? Love, Swee with regard, ys Rafal Links
Guest guest
The general rules applied to Rashi (natal chart) can also apply to analyse strength of any Varga (divisional chart), viz; occupation in benefic/malefic sign, state of planet i.e exaltation/debilitation/swakshetra, aspect to and from, argala, badhaka, yoga, ashtakavarga and etc. Even dasha and gochar can also be erected with respect to any diviosonal chart, for analysing the event in more details. At initial level, the factor of occupation can be taken to find strength of a planet in a varga(D-n), namely; placement in OWN, EXALTATION, or DEBILITATION sing in the very D-n chart. Another point is to see, where the planet is placed in D-n chart, note the sign. Now see in Rashi(D-1) where the 'noted sign' falls. If that 'sign' arises as dushtana bhavas(6,8,12) then the effect will be malefic. In, short, 12 houses, are ranked as; Sattvik Bhavas: 1st, 4th, 5th, 9th. Rajisik Bhavas: 2nd, 7th, 10th, 11th. Tama Bhavas: 3rd, 6th, 8th, 12th. You have enquired, in case of conjuction of many planets in D-n, which planet is to be consider powerful. In such situation, the a planet wins, if it occupies in exaltaion/own/friend's sign, or advanced in degrees, or posseses greater number of benefic poionts in ashtakavarga, or the dispositor of another strong planet. But it should also borne in mind that the divisional charts themeself a source of finding strenght of planets and used in many strength criterias, like vimshoka bala, amsa-varga(shodasvarga, dasavarga, saptvarga, sadavarga) etc. I consider divisional chart as fine tunning buttons, therefore they should be treated under the respective bhava and matter under studied, and not isolated. Another important significance, Sage Parashar clued, is the deity ruling in every varga. He assigned a diety to all 'n' parts of D-n charts. For example, take Drekkan(D-3), the 1st, 5th and the 9th signs are respectively, lorded by three deities, Narada, Agasthya and Durvash. Now to explore the myths and meanings of these dieties and their functions is the task, required knowledge of Vedas, so that their effect can be understood. That is which planet contain special affinity to the mentioned deity, and which planet is harmful in which part of the varga. Gauranga Das has done some work in this line, and uploaded an article sometime ago, which you may find it in his website. Guest guest
Dear Rafal One method is o calculate Vimshopaka bala. This gives strength in finite numbers. Other way is to look at planets in trines or Angles, Exaltation, Own Rasi, Friend's Rasi and asses strength on that basis. Chandrashekhar. rrafal108 wrote: Dear Guru-ji's.
