Guest guest
Dear members, Vimshottari dasha is calculated on the basis of the Moon's position in rashi chakra and thus there is a relation between the two. Is there a good reason (scripturally or logically) why vimshottari dasha is related to the planets in the navamsa, dasamsa etc.? For example, if one is in the Sun dasha, and Sun is a certain house of the rasi, we can be sure that issues related to that house will come up during that period. But if the Sun is in a certain house in the navamsa, will that house influence the nature of that dasha? Or should we approach the divisional charts with separate dasha systems, such as Narayana dasha? It seems logical to me that every divisional chart needs a separate division of dashas... Guest guest
Dear Ivar, There are different opinions on the subject and some do apply the Dashas to D- Charts. Others, like me, prefer to find out the effects of the dasha lord, with reference to various D-Charts and its own intrinsic strength/weakness and apply the Vimshottary dasha to arrive at predictions.
