Who ever adviced BJP to have elections at this time when both Mercury and Jupiter are retro, would not have thought of the possible outcome. (I am sure there must be some astrologers to advice on Muhurtams and good days when victory is assured)) The poll pundits are really changing tune every day from singing victory march to the tunes of Beating the Retreat. I am wondering if reverses in BJP's fortunes have anything to do with Mercury and Jupiter being retro. Jupiter is a Brahmin and Mercury is a Bania.BJP is known as Bania Brahmin party. Further more, Saturn is in Mithunam. Where will this elections lead us, I can't say but things don't look Lotusy (Rosy) for BJP.
