Dear Friends,

I am sharing a private mail that I had received from Chandrashekharji sometime

back. I found it very useful. I think it will benefit other students of

astrology too.

Kind regards

Ramesh

NamasteDear Ramesh,I will give you some pointers for Vimshottary dasha use for

timing of events. Similar parameters can be used for timing events using other

dasha systems.Find out benefic and malefics (functional)). Remember that good

results are obtained in the Dasha periods of benefics and bad in those of

malefics. Another important factor is that Benefics Antar in its own Mahadasha

gives contrary results. Same is the case of Malefics. In case of a bhava the

transit movements of the bhava lord, planet in the bhava and the natural Karaka

of the bhava give an indication of the event when they are in trine to or aspect

the bhava. The strength of the bhava would indicate the type of results. The

person's age has also to be considered to arrive at what particular indication

is going to come through. You should not predict marriage for on of say 6 years

of age, even if Dasha and Antar of the relevant planets is running and the

planets are in trine. Also remember that Yogakaraka initiates yoga with respect

to the bhava that he transits or trines. The nature would depend on the bhava

proper. When trying to narrow the time down to a year observe Jupiter's

transit, a month Sin's and within a day Moon's nakshtra charana. The reference

to degrees of the planet in natal and transit has also to be observed as the

yoga is most likely to come through when the trine or transit occurs on the

exact degrees of the natal planet. As is said in jyotish, above all apply your

logic to arrive at the conclusion.I trust this will help you.Chandrashekhar.
