In examining a House, here is one approach:

 

1) Understand its significations

(e.g. 7th House for partnerships)

 

2) Understand the zodiac sign contained therein

(e.g. is a planet therein in a state of exaltation / debilitation / in

a friend's sign, etc?)

 

3) Understand the planet itself

(Is the planet naturally opposed to the House it is in? What is it

trying to teach us here?)

 

4) Examine planetary degrees

(Extending from classifications to exaltation / debilitation, etc.

what state is the planet in?)

 

5) Examine the lord of the House

(Where is the *lord* of the said house? E.g. where are the energies /

focus of the 7th House going?)

 

6) Conjunctions

Are there any other planets in the said House?

 

7) Aspects

(Are there other planets that have a gaze on the said House?)

 

There is a lot more and in due time, you may have your own approach.

I am just curious on how much information exists to say what Jupiter

in the 7th house means? Is it possible to give detailed

information/analysis on this planetary position, how it affects on

life what aspect of life it affects and also the people that this

house signifies/affects also for example mother, father, brothers,

sisters or spouse?

 

The reason is that I have jupiter in the 7th house trying to find out

what this means.

 

I am also looking for free software that would help me to understand

my birthchart which houses the planets fall into and what lords rule

and which is in english that also gives explanations/translations of

the birthchart and so forth I am new to astrology trying to learn it

don't know quite where to start.

 

would appreciate the help.
