Guest guest
Om NamoBhagavate SatyaDevaaya Namaste friends, This Thursday (July 1) is Pournima (Full Moon day). The Full Moon day of the Ashadha lunar month is known as Vyasa Pournima or Guru Pournima. One pays obeisance to one's gurus on that day. Satya Narayana is a form of Narayana, who symbolizes Truth. It is auspicious to do Satya Narayana Vratam on Full Moon nights. We do it on every Full Moon night at my home in South Grafton, Mass, USA (west of Boston). On July 1, 2004, we will be starting the vratam at around 7:30 pm (EDT), in Dhanurlagnam. It will end at 10 pm or so. Those of you who want to watch it are most welcome to visit our home and have prasadam for dinner after the vratam. If you come by 7:30 pm, I can read your gotram and name also in the sankalpam. If you want to join us, please let us know ahead. I or my wife Padmaja will send you directions. Please send a mail to pvr (AT) charter (DOT) net and paddulu (AT) hotmail (DOT) com and let us know how many people are coming from your family. We will be glad to have you and your family. May Jupiter's light shine on us, Narasimha
