Guest guest
Dear Sri Raman, Namaste! Please permit to intervene. > Dear Sri Ramanarayanan, > > Namasthe! > > My calculations of the antardasha are based on the assumption that it > follows the same pattern as Mahadasa and we seem to have the same view. That is not how I understood him. His view seems to be much closer to mine than yours. In Swamiji's case, mahadasa cycle found for Dhanishtha 4th quarter (Aries navamsa) is Sg, Sc, Li, Vi, Le, Cn, Ge, Ta and Ar. All the three of us agree there. Now, when finding antardasas in Ge dasa, you are using the same 9 signs found above and starting with Ge to come up with Ge, Ta, Ar, Sg, Sc, Li, Vi, Le and Cn. On the other hand, Sri Ramanarayanan and I are looking up the table again for Ge and finding 9 new signs: Ta, Ar, Pi, Aq, Cp, Sg, Ar, Ta and Ge. (Had natal Moon been in Ge navamsa, these would have been the mahadasas!!) We are not using the same signs in the mahadasa cycle as you are doing. Thus, Sri Ramanarayanan and I have a very similar approach. The only difference is: (a) He is counting from Ge to Ta (jeeva to deha) because the original nakshatra Dhanishtha is apasavya. (b) I am counting from Ta to Ge (deha to jeeva) because the new nakshatra corresponding to Gemini mahadasa (Gemini here is Aswini 3rd pada) is savya. But the bottomline is that both of us (he and I) find a new antardasa cycle by treating dasa sign (Gemini) as Chandra navamsa and using the same table used for finding mahadasas. > However, my understanding on this system does not match with the Dasa > pattern that you have given. > > Let us consider Bharani 4th pada. It belongs to Savya Group and if I > consider the pattern you have given, I get Can, Leo, Vir, Lib, Sco, Sag, > Cap, Aqu, Pic with Deha as Cancer and Jeeva as Pisces. But my understanding > of the pattern is Can, Leo, Gem, Tau, Ari, Pis, Aqu, Cap, Sag with Cancer as > Deha and Sag as Jeeva. I think he too uses the same pattern. Chandra navamsa for Bharani 4 is Sc. If you look at his table, Scorpio is mapped to the same signs you are giving ("4,5,3,2,1,12,11,10,9"). I think all the three of us are coming up with the same mahadasas for Bharani 4. > The sequence, as I understand it, is not on the basis of the beginning Rasi > but on the basis of the Nakshatra Pada. It would be nice if you can throw > more light on the same. I don't think he is talking about the starting sign. He is talking about finding Moon's navamsa (not the regular navamsa, but Kalachakra navamsa - mirror sign for apasavya nakshatras) and finding the mahadasa cycle for it. Our differences are only at the antardasa level. All the three of us seem to agree on mahadasas. > Similarly, if we consider Apasavya Stars Rohini 2nd Pada, Makha 3rd pada, > Mrigasira 3rd Pada all start with Kanya Rasi, but the pattern of Mahadasa is > different for each. > > Om Tat Sat, > > Raman Suprajarama May Jupiter's light shine on us, Narasimha
