Narasimaji's JHL does gives the correct Lagna. The astrological program I used to work out the chart gives different coordinates for Bangalore and therefore the wrong information. Venus in 8th house helps in spiritual pursuits as the karaka for the 7th house is in its maraka sthana. This placement of Venus is often present in the charts of sadhus. Ketu in its own sign again in the 8th house indicates insight into occult knowledge. He would be very good is astrology, if he attempts to study the subject. The 5th lord in 9th is perfect for worship as bhakti combines dharma. The yoga for 4th and 5th lords shows devotion towards Vishnu or Vishnu worship. However, the placement of AK in the 8th house is not good...
