Guest guest
I advise to follow true nodes as Shri K.N.Rao follows. Nodes' position in divisional chart change if you use true / mean nodes. Try them and see yourself. Guest guest
Hi, I was wondering too. Ketu's nakshastra in my rashi chart changes if I use different nodes. If I use the true node, then Ketu is in Pushya, 4th quarter. If I use the mean node, then Ketu is in Ashlesha,1st quarter. Well....In Goravani program, Ketu in Ashlesha, 1st quarter talks about entering into armed forces....I did join the navy. Also I read that Ashlesha is nakshastra that has to do with the ears, and I did have auditory processing, phonological problems as a child.....Ketu in Ashlesha in 12th would seem like significant difficulties involving the ears but I read that Pushya is nakshastra has to do with the mouth, and I did have problems with speech as well as dental problems...all that has to do with the mouth......Ketu in Pushya in 12th would seem like significant difficulties involving the mouth......I really felt that I suffered too much as a child because of my speech problems, and I was called "retard" by other children. I guess my mainstream kindergarten teacher thought I was stupid too because I ended up in special ed class with the mentally retarded in 1st grade. I didn't like that teacher either. She was like in her mid40's and probably early 50's. In those days, they didn't understand Dyslexic children. Another thing too is that transiting Saturn was 2 degrees from conjuncting my Ketu in Cancer in 12th when I started kindergarten which of course ended up a disaster. ....the problems were both related to mouth and ears.......so it's really hard to say........I felt that transiting Saturn conjunct my Ketu in 12th was a big karmic transit. It really changed my life. It turned me into outgoing child to a very shy, withdrawn, and insecure child. That is very common with children with learning disabilities. It taught me humility and empathy for the underdogs and the downtrodden. If I use true node, I have Ketu conjunct Moon in 4th in navamsha, and that would indicate a mother that suffers a lot as well as dysfunctional homelife. That's true. Also my mother does have emotional, psychological issues. Rahu in 10th could indicate that I can be an alternative type career. If I use mean node, I have Ketu conjunct Jupiter in 3rd. I grew up without any siblings. When I was 22 yrs old,my mother told me that she had a son 2 yrs before she met my father. When I was 32 yrs old, my mother told me that my father had a 5 yr daughter when they first met. It turns out that I have 2 halfsiblings that I have never met. How is that for Ketu in 3rd??? I pretty much lost siblings before I even was born. Another thing to is that with Jupiter(karaka of children) conjunct Ketu, I could have suffering and loss through children. It can also mean that I have special needs children like my mother had special needs child which was me. My mother has Jupiter conjunct Ketu and Mercury in her rashi chart. I am Dyslexic, and it's very possible that my children will be Dyslexic. My girlfriend is Dyslexic, and if she and I have children, our children will definitely be Dyslexic. She has Ketu in 5th house in her rashi chart. I also have Ketu in 5th in the septamsha just like my mother, and that is using the mean node for both charts. My mother did lose her firstborn son,and she had a special needs child. If I use the the mean node, then I have Rahu conjunct my Mercury in 9th in the navamsha. That could indicate my speech/learning problems(Dyslexia) as well as alternative religious views. Also ....if 9th house is the father, then that could indicate my father had the same issues, and he did have speech problems and problems with high school. Also he was a drug addict, and Rahu in 9th could indicate father involved with drugs. It could also indicate unconventional father, and he was. In my case, it seems either node works for me. Guest guest
I find the true nodes give better results: there are often stations or changes of directions of the nodes on key points of the natal chart at crucial moments (eg. death of family members). Also, Nodes are eclipse factors, and the positions of the true nodes better reflect the actual timing of an eclipse. In addition, one could argue that all the planets have "mean" positions, so why bother observing and calculating precisely where they really are? Why bother with retrograde Mars or Mercury, since their usual and "mean" movement is direct? I admit that it's hard to interpret from DCs and nakshatra etc which nodes are better: I suggest looking at what happens when the true nodes go stationary or direct, and seeing if it tallies with key events in someone's life. Best wishes Graham Fox vedic astrology, "ashutosh_gangal" <ashutosh_gangal> wrote: > > Thanks a lot for your comments > > Regards > > Ashutosh > > vedic astrology, Partha Sarathy <partvinu@g...> > wrote: > > Whether anyone suggests or not.
