Dear Gurus, Learned members, researchers,

 

I am a beginner. Struggling to understand the various concepts,

applying them to my own chart. Today I was shocked by the various

ways astrology can be bent to intrepret the events in various ways. I

have been using JHora softwrae which uses deafult Lahiri ayanamsa,

with my TOB rectified by 4 minutes. But I was in interaction with a

respected professional astroloer. He simply used another ayanamasa

(Raman) and kept the TOB as it is. Now I tried his ways, many of the

events does not match. Ofcourse I have spent more than 4 months

banging my head into various dasas and my life events. Now I am

confused totally, which ayanamsa is correct, which should be used.

 

 

By changing the ayanamsa the Atmakaraka itself changes. And ofcourse

then all chara karakas change. Such a big impact. I am lost.

 

Please guide me.

Dear Pradeep,

 

Take Lahiri ayanamsa, when You master this You can try another,

but still many Guruji's here are using Lahiri only.

I have not looked at your kundali. However, I would like to make a few

observations. Most use Lahiri ayanamsha. If you are a beginner, I

would recommend not getting into Atmakara and stuff. There are

controversies whether to use 7 cahra karakas or 8. So as a beginner it

may be beneficial to learn the basics which are not controversial and

learn the time tested principles first.
