ashwini gives the power to heal. may not be applicable to research,

but not bad either

shravana gives the power to listen, connect, good for intuitive

abilities needed for research.(and mars is in the 8th anyway)

most impressinve are magha and mula, magha is the ancestors, leaving

the body, death, all related to tantra, occult, discovering hidden

things. mula creates the desire to go deep, to the bottom of things.

good for research.

yes, rahu aspects 10th lord, but in ashwini, its not as scary as if

it were in mula...!

anyway, rahu (in 11th) is a chaya graha, shadow planet, so it will

act like its dispositor, mars. so, in its period, it will give

results especially per the placement of its dispositor, mars who is

in the 8th, creating major desires (11th) in the area of research

(8th), and affecting life through mars, lord of 6 (health,

obstacles), and especially the 8th house, placement of mars (intense

karma purification, change and upheavals, chronic illness hard to

cure).

i think rahu's aspect on jupiter 10th lord is not the main effect on

career difficulties, which is caused more by shani, a natural

malefic and lord of 8th in 10th house, however its lordship of 9th

will give career some benefit too. also, its lordship of the 8th

actually gives a career in research, really, not all bad.

DO NOT wear stones for mars rahu, whatever you do. mars rules the

6th, in the 8th, really not good. best if you feel you need to, to

pray through mantra homa etc instead.

especially this is true for rahu, for the same reasons. yes, it co

rules the 9th house, but i feel its dispositor takes precedence, as

it is a chaya graha. in particular, a stone will increase rahu's

ability to cause suffering...good thing its in ashwini.

Dear Kali das Ji,

Thank you for replying me. Actually Mars does aspect on Rahu (4th

rule). Rahu is in Aswini while Mars in Sravana. Rahu is my AK as

well. Aswini and Sravana both could be good for research activity

(Pl, clarify). So being in these nakshatra, Rahu and Mars should

shape my scientific career. But Rahu is Ak. Malefic being an AK also

shows hardship. it could be in my career as well. In fact, I am not

getting proper success so far in my research. another planet for

success is Jupiter which is in Magha while Sun is in Mula. I don't

how Jupiter is going shape. Rahu, Jup and Sun are in Deva

Shasthiymsha (D-60), while mars is in Vishnu. Rahu also aspects Sun

in D1 and other varga. Now boosting Rahu and Mars by gem or mantra

is good for me or not.

I really appreciate your views to get a shape of our current

discussion.

If you can look at my chart , i will remain grateful to you.

Thank you again

with personal regards

yes, look at all the connections, lordships, placements. you dont

have a graha srishti or rashi drishti between mars and rahu, but for

career, both rahu (graha and rashi drishti) and mars (graha and

rashi drishti) aspect jupiter, 10th lord. also look at their house

rulerships too.

yes, nakshatras are important. download the shaktis of the

nakshatras from vedanet.com, the weebsite of vamadeva shastri. for

example, a planet that can already be a candidtate for children, in

purva phalguni, who's shakti is procreation, can give child better

than a another planet who is also a candiditate for children, but in

nakshatra magha, shakti of death, leaving the body.

Dear Kalidas Ji,

Thank you for your kind reply. So Rahu, Jupiter and Mars are the

concerned planet. When I analyse any chart do I need to look at

their placements as well as mutual conjuction or what. For example,

in my case Rahu is in aries(11), Mars is in Cp(8) and Ju in Leo(3)

for Gemini asc and rasi. there is a connection of Rahu and Ju also

Rahu and Mars. Again Rahu is in AL and mars is in a10. But Rahu-Jup

connection also represent guru chandal yoga.

Does nakshatra play any role in scientific endeavors. I mean the

said planets in a particular nakshatra may give their best to the

individual.

I really appreciate your response and your input taking my chart for

analysis.

My dob 17.12.1967, 4:59pm, and Calcutta.

Thank you

i personally would not look at the 6th house too much for

scientific/research, i would mostly stick to 8th house and 10th, and

rahu: research , discovering, ketu: hidden, exploring mysteries,

mars: logical analysis, jupiter: intuitive strength, al and a10:

(arudh lagna and arudha pada of 10th house) will determine fame, how

the public sees the person, and his/her achievements.

also, scorpio wherever it is in the chart is also the natural rashi

of research and exploring hidden things.

the 3d house shows the worldly desires one has, 11th shows the major

desires of one's life.

Respected Kalidas ji,

I am excited to see your input to judge profession of a person. Now

for scientist, should i look at 6th, 8th and 10th or what is your

opinion. See i am a scientist. my details are 17.12.67, 4:59pm and

Calcutta. There are millions of scientist around the world. but how

many of them are known to us. very few. Even we don't keep a track

of nobel prize winners unless they are from the same discipline.

Some scientist like Einstein, Newton, Edison we are learning about

them since childhood. So, how do one judge, the scientific

profession and fame at the same time. Also the impact of the

discovery, that brings the glory to the mankind.

See in my case, D1, gemini asc and rasi as well, Jup in leo(3rd),

Sun in (Sagi) , Saturn (10th), Rahu (11th, Aries), Venus (libra, 5th

with Ketu) , Mer (6th, Sco) and Mars (Capri, 8th). Now there is a

connection of Rahu and Jupiter. Also, Jupiter, Sun and Saturn (by

depositor rule) are connected. Does, Jupiter and Rahu invoke any

scientific attitude.

I really appreciate your input regarding my scientific profession.

Thank you in advance

With personal regards
