If a chart indicates unearned gains, (strong 8/11th houses) then how can one capitalize on this... Are there any guidelines that can be used in timing purchase of lottery etc... If one has shukra in strength in 8th , I have seen sudden or rather unexpected gain. Now when one buys a lottery ticket there is expectation of reward so do not know whether that would work. Also its a philosophical debate wether anything is unearned. One reaps what one sows so there is no such a thing as unearned. Aslo if you ever got promoted from among many candidates, they will always think that it was unearned gain, while you will insist that it was well deserved and earned. When does anyone ever think what they have is not earned...:-) .... Venus can not be in 8th bahva. What I said was that shukra in 8th in strength, so in vrishbah, tula. It is exalted in meena , but in my experience, i have not come across a chart with meena shukra in 8 , but that can happen. Agian what I said was unexpected gain, lottery can be an unexpected gain, but to win big, this shukra has to be strong ( meaning shadbala, also amsha bala) .... Both have to have good amsha bala and shadbala. Venus also is sixth lord , so the unearned gains will come with some dispute. Winning lottery, thats hard to predict. One can say that the potential for say easy money is there. One has to look at the whole chart to gauge whether there are any other influences on these planets. If 11th lord is also somehow invoved the chances brigthen up. If tenth gets involved ..alas one has to expend some effort ( read karma) .... Here is a chart that promises potential for unearned gains from a D-1 perspective. Sc Lagna, Ve exalted in 5th (and rasi drishti on 8/11th houses) 8/11th lord Me in 4th w/ Sun and Rahu aspected by dhanakaraka Ju from 12th. Ve has argala on 4th house (sukha sthana) where 8/11th lords of unearned gains are posited. This chart seems to promise some unearned gains... Currently running Ra/Su But the graha positions in navamsa seem to take away any gains promised by the rasi chart! Or doesn't it? Based on the planetary influences, is it possible to surmise where the unearned gains may come from? Career front maybe - as 8/11th lord is with Sun? Or is there an inheritence, or is it a lottery? But anyways, I donot actually believe earning by a lottery. Hence I hardly buy any lotteries, The cases where I referred were sort of family games like Tambola or some lucky coupons draw etc. I donot remember if in these 32 yrs I have ever bought a lottery although I felt tempted to try WIN Lotto sometimes ago when I was in bangalore and a Astrology Web site told me that I could win a lottery. Even then I did not try because I prefer earning by karma.. With Grace of God I have SURYA, BUDHA, MANGAL AND KETU IN MY HOUSE OF KARMA ( 10th House) with Karka Rashi. Please correct me if I am wrong. Also 10th Lord Moon is in 3rd House with Jupiter forming a Gaja Kesari Yoga.. Still should I try a Lottery?
