The current dasha is also of marriage lord venus placed in tenth house, running since 1990. current AD is Venus-Saturn. venus is strong in Shadbala. Infact it curtails the expectancy of spouse life. Saturn, Rahu and Sun are 'seperating' planets and lead to delayed marriage when associate with 7th house/lord and Karaka. Here in the given chart, though Scorpio is rising, occupied by Rahu and aspected by Mars. Instead she would be girlish, chaste, intuitive, nice and very intellegent as Sun, Moon and Lagna all fall into even signs. Moreover Revati-Moon is along with Jupiter in Pisces. Sun is 7th from Moon may make her bit egoist. While Saturn's aspect to Sun(10th lord) makes her self-made and dutiful and Jupiter aspect to Sun yeilds sense of self respect. Mars (as lagnesh) aspects the 10th, 1st and 2nd houses shows deep rooted desires of getting matters stand for these houses, i.e. professioal success, personal charm, and secure amount of wealth. Vacant dushtana bhavas (6,8,12) is a blessing for any chart as here it is. But UL(upapada) in Rashi, is along with Shatrupad (A6) and is hemmed in between two natural malefics, is not an encouraging sign of peaceful marital life. Second from UL is occupied by Saturn (udner rashi drishti of Saturn, Mars and Rahu) indicates that she may not fully enjoy fruits of happy marital life. There may be some efforts and hopes regarding marriage from August 2004 to September 2005, when transit Jupiter is moving into Virgo--7th from radix Moon and 11th from lagna. But Virgo has less than average i.e. 26 shubh bindus in SAV, so it could not materialsed. On the other hand Saturn is kAla and natural significane of delay. Rahu is consider akin to Saturn and infact one which is thrown out/exiled. So these three grahas naturally desire to be alone. When these mentioned planets associate to any bhav or karak; they cause delay (and sometime denial) of the respective matters. Classics annoted many yogas when either of Saturn, Rahu or Sun is in 7th from lagna or Venus lead to delay in marriage. Maharishi Jaimini mentioned UL (upapad lagna) to look spouse and possible bodily ailments of spouse while second from UL shows longevity of spousal relationships and fruits of marital life. Jaimini did not rank Sun as evil for these matters. So if Rahu and Saturn afflict the UL (and other benefics donot associate UL) then either spouse may die early or native himself take sanyas (asceticism). The software I am using is giving rahu and ketu in 12 and 6th house respectively- 29.32 degree. it is not in 1st house. would this change some results. also mer is marginal 29.45 D. I also saw your mail about marana karka sthana. In this case, Mars is in MKS. what will be its effects? May be you setup option at true nodes position rather mean nodes. Rahu/Ketu are in 1st/7th respectively both in Rashi and Bhava kundali. Regarding MKS, I have earlier told that it harms the natural significance (karakas) of graha when counter factors are absent. Mars is karaka of coborns, step mother, heat, letigation, initiation etc. Apart from MKS, 7th Mars makes one 'passionate partner'. Mars in 7th may curtails the spouse life or give deformed partner when its in malefic sign and/or associates with natural malefic planets. Here in this case, Mars may yeild official favour, foreign travel or spouse may be government servant etc. Note also dispositer of Mars (ie. Venus) is into Leo with A7. JHL has mean nodes as the default setting and reading through the help file, i found it is strongly recommended also.
