Does one wear gemstones to strengthen the weak

planets one have in his or her chart or the other way around, to give more of

strength to planets in strong position.

Wearing gem is one of the widely practiced remedial

measure.

 

Remedies are performed in order to

a) Enhance the good effects of functional benefic.

b) Reduce the bad effects of functional malefic.

 

For purpose (a) things/articles are adopted or worn.

For example, wearing gems or ring of specific matel,

chanting specific mantra, wearing clothes of specific

colour, lighting bulb of specific shades in room etc.

 

For purpose (b) things/articles are given away,

donated or sacrificed. For example fasting on specific

day, donating gems and clothes on suggested day,

feeding poors and animals, throwing coins into river

etc.
