It will give You more acurate predictions. Kendra to Moon is how You are influenfced by society, and kendra to Lagna how You influence it, so depending on chart You use specific combination. Best results You get if You combine this with Special Udu dasa like Shastihayani etc. with regards, Rafal

Guest guest
|| Hare Rama Krishna || Dear Gaurav-ji and Richa-ji, Namaskar. Vimshottari Dasa can be drawn based on several sphuta's namely Janma Nakshatra (i.e. Moon's constellation), Lagna's constellation, Sun's constellation and may others. Moon represents mind, so VD from Moon's constellation will show the timings of events happening to the mind or the timing of the mind's various states and reactions. You know about dictums in psychology, viz., whatever events occur in the external world have an effect to our internal world. Hence, there is a correspondence between the two. For example, marriage, birth or a baby, job, travel, death and disease -- all these produce subtle and distinct reactions in our minds. For example, the mind's reaction at the nirth of a baby is not be same as that for getting a job. Thus Vimshottari Dasa from Moon's constellation shows mind reactions. Similarly from the Lagna constellation will show the physical happenings to the body, of the body, and by the body. From the Sun will show the happenings at the soul level and so forth. But, physical and mental events may or may not match in time. That is why to have to see which one of the Vimshottari dasa's we are to take, in order to time extermal events like marriage or job or some such event. To see this, look that number of planets in Kendra to the Moon (excluding the Moon) and also in Kendra to the Lagna) (excluding the Moon again as for Moon's you didnt consider it). Whichever number is bigger (i.e. whiever of the Moon or Lagna is stronger or has more support) will show which Vimshottari Dasa scheme is more successful in mapping the events in time. If they are equal both are eligible and you need to test both. This is what is taught by Guru Narasimha-ji. I am not sure why traditionally only Vimshottari Moon dasa is considered by astrologers. Probably as computation was difficult before the age of the computers. However, you can check the 'Vimshottari dasa seed strength' by right clicking on the sub-window of Nakshatra Dasa's and compare various seeds. Under 'Options' you can change the sphuta or the beginning point. This is all in JHora. Hope this helps, Sourav vedic astrology, Richa Gupta <richas_lucky> wrote: > Gaurav Ji I never heard that Vimsottari dasa starts from lagna either it have 2 or more than 2 or not any one planet...It always starts from the moon's nakshtra which moon occupies at birth time.......... > May Gurujis Guide us > Thanxs and regards > Richa > > gbin1979 <gbin1979> wrote: > > Respected members, > i had read in one of the astrology lessons that if > lagna is more strong or having more planets then Vimsottari dasa is > considered from Lagna and not moon.
