Dear Praveen Kumar,

> Dear Narasimha, > With TOB as 18:18, I get GL in Libra 00:26 degrees. Hence,

it will be in Libra in Dasamsa too. It seems to be due to difference in

software.> > Praveen Kumar (Mumbai)

GL depends on the exact time of sunrise. GL is at Sun's position at the time of

sunrise and moves at the uniform rate of one sign per ghati (24 min).

Depending on the definition of sunrise used (JHora offers 3 different

definitions), GL can change.

However, I cannot see how it is possible to get GL at 0Li26 in this chart.

What is the sunrise time given by your software on the day?

Sir,

I have posted this query earlier. I get small differences in planet

positions comparing JHL5 with JHL 7. That is specially affecting

Vismotari Dasa. And I am confused, as for, why is this happening? And

which dasa to be used?

Looking forward to hear from you.

- Kaushik.

Sunrise time is given as 06:10:42. You can check it with many softwares, say

Parasara Light. In your software, degrees of planets too differ in many cases.
