These almost always are not good enough as such a casual approach in applying jyotisha knowledge can and does bring disrepute to this highly specialized field. So kindly do not give or trust such recommendations. Let me state what I have found from this chart of Mayank-ji. I assume that the birth time is correct and the native of this chart should vouchsafe that first. Hence all readings are dependant on whether the time is correct or not. Your questions were related exclusive to career and finances. I will look at D-1, D-9 and D-10. D-1: Overall prosperity of the native D-9: Fortune and talents of the native D-10: The details of the career and prosperity there-in. In D-1, the LL is located in 7H. Althought it is in an inimical sign, still being retrograde and being LL can give fame to the native but late in life (Sa is a slow planet). Ra also is also there and is friendly to Sa. The dispositor of LL is Su with debilitated Me in the 2H. Being retrograde, Me's debilitation is reversed. Being with overall, it is not in a bad state. La also contains 10L and 3L Ma and Ke. Ma being aspected by Sa gives significant self effort and is also in Simhasana yoga. However, Ke afflication (which is withing 1.5 degrees of Ma) gives a certain amount of recklessness in decision making. This need to be checked and exercise of patience is recommended. However, Ke is far away from the Lagna cusp at 3 deg 53'). Hence,the effect of such an affliction is not severe. However, La is fortified by being in a subhakarari (i.e. being hemmed between) of Ve and Sun-Me. Sun is subha as although it is a malefic but is the lord of a kendra. Exalted Ju in the 6H of obstacles can remove certain obstacles as Ju is certainly a benefic being 2nd and 11th house lord. Ju is also in exchange with Mo. However, Mo is not a benefic in this case as the birth is in the Krishna Dasami. Hence Mo is a functional malefic. So care should be taken in the Moon periods and sub-periods. A11 and A10 being in the La shows success and achievements in the career. In D-9, let us look at the same planets we discussed above. There is an exchange or parivartana between Me and Ve. So effectively, Ve is in 12H and Me is in 11H. Ve is AK and in 12H can give riches in abundance. Lagna is aspected by its lord Ma who is again with Ke. La also has Ra affliction. Trines to Navamsa shows the talents of the individual. Here the trines (1, 5, 9) have only one planet, Ra. Ra's tendencies are materialistic and mostly negative. However, Ra also can make a person very diplomatic. In D-10, we look at the 2, 6 (or 7) and 10 houses primarily for career. 2H has Ju aspecting as owning the 10H and as aspects the 6H. Ju also is the LL and hence in this chart Jupiterian activity is significant. It shows a career related to knowledge in some form because of a kartari between Ju and Me on the Lagna, there is a constantly learning activity also. Here, significantly, the 6H has A10, showing that career will be primarily service type, i.e. a salaried job! To see success in career vs sucess in self-owned business, let us see the 6H and 7H. out of these the 7H has more planets, Mo with Ke affliction. Mo is the owner of 5H of recognition and its placement in the 7H shows a desire for for business. But Ke's position is not very good even though Ke is the co-lord of 9H. Moreover, the lord of the 7H is Me (also a badhakesh) in dusthana 12H and also conjoins with A8 manifestation of troubles. Ve is in Indraamsa in the 4H of a friendly sign and also conjoins A6. Venus dasa can give some significant position of authority but also some set backs as it is the 8L (but LL Ju's full 7th aspect on 8H is redeeming in its dasa period). However, being the 3L, the native will feel Overall, I will suggest that a career suited to service is the main focus. Having said all of this, let us end the analysis with a simple look at the dasa. Because LL is in the 7H, We can select Dwisaptati sama dasa. Present dasa is Ju/Me which is there till July-26-2005. Because of the antar of Me who is badhakesh, and lords the house of sukha 4H and kaama 7H and also is retrograde, the native has a strong desire for owning a business. The next dasa is Ve. Venus is a yoga-karaka for the native (see D-1) and I believe will give him good impetus in the career. Hopw this helps. Learned guru's please educate me by pointing out my mistakes if any.
