Dear Anend,

An interesting case for study. Within these 2 minutes Dasamsa, Vimsamsa,

Khavedamsa, and Sastiamsa will be changing. Now it is not possible to tell

something definite about job and spiritual progress of a newborn baby that

can be checked with actual facts, yet it might be possible to tell what is

the birthtime if you could give some more details about the parents. E.g.

physical appearance, character, jobs etc...

Dear Dhira and others

Namaste,

Cutting of umbilical cord is birth?? How does this hold water in the

case of still born babies?

A year ago I had posted the birth details of my own child and I am

still struggling to define which of those is" correct"! I was there

and recorded 3 different times

1) First sighting

2) First Cry

3) Cutting of umblilical cord

My own experiments have left me to believe that there can be atleast 2

birth times associated

1) Darsana -- first sighting of head

2) Rodana - first cry

To say that severence of umblilical cord is denotes "independent

existance" is an argument that I cannot buy!

Dhira, you have given a wonderful case, could I have complete birth

details please.

warm regards,

Vishnu

Still born babies neither cry nor breath either

We should stick to births that went on to live.

best wishes
