Dear Partha ,

you mean that for predicting travel(physical activity) , D-1 chart is OK

But all D-charts from D-1 to D-12 deal with physical phenomena only...

Then why take only D-1

Please clear my doubt....

Dear Naveen

 

the d-chars individually stand for certain areas of our lives. Even

though the first set of d-charts are for physical environment, they

are exclusively for various aspects such as marriage/dharma-d9,

parents-d12, career-d-10, health-d6.

 

Probably we can be using the travel questions in the respective d-

charts to find out when one travels for what purpose.(I have not used

them till now, but your question prompted me to do so!)

For example in d-10 may be we can use the third lord for travelling

in jobs also. My brother has exalted sun in 3rd in d-10. He is

working in Indian airlines and thus travels a lot. And 3rd lord Mars

in d-10 is in 7th house of long distance journeys, so thus he travels

far and wide.

D-4 chart is very useful for relocations and travels. You can even guess the

direction and target country from it. As for houses in D-4, I would say the

following: 7th is journeys for business of pleasure, longer duration. 9th is

longer foreign stay and 12th is journeys because of need, like being banished

from your borth place or needing to escape as a refugee. 4th is residence, and

11th is change of residence.

Ofcourse d-4 is quite a useful chart, but it shows travel associated with

residences, and not mere travelling. For example there are people who have

short travels everyday as part of their work(salesman) for whom d-10 could be

appropriate. Just my two cents

Namaskar. As far as I understand, 4H is house and

property, 3H is 12-th from 4H indicating displacement/movement in

and around home area. I am thinking 9H is 7th from 3H and hence

shows long journeys.

 

I hope to see a better explanation from the learned members.
