Some Issues in Astrological Predictions

Respected Guruji's,

I am Pramod...I am practising Astrology for the past 7 yrs and have

been fairly good in my Predictions. In some horos i have achieved more

than 80-90% accuracy .Astrology is a very good hobby to me.

But there are some issues which astrology hasnt given me satisfactory

answers and hence cant be very firm in my predictions.

The issues are :

1) Regarding Professional life,we usually look into 10th house..which

holds good even for women...The question is, In India we have more

than 30% of people who are house wives and during 1950-1960's there

were 70% of house wives..Hence how to exactly predict whether a girl

will enter professional life or become house wife????

2)Regarding prediction of balarishta or death of person, we look into

2nd and 7th houses and maraka planets...But incidents like Tsunami

killed more than 50,000 people at a stretch...I would be fairly sure

that all 50,000 people cant have same combination of maraka planet

dashas running...So how to exactly predict death of a person.

3) Regarding marriages,in India People go to astrologers and ask

whether mine would be arranged or love marriage.Around 30-40% of

indian marriages are arranged marriages. But when compared to

USA,Germany or UK i have heard there are people who rarely go for

arranged marriages...

How to predict love or arranged marriages.

I would be very happy if you could please clarify these doubts as i

could be much more firm in my predictions and helps in my research of

astrology tooo....

Regards

Pramod

To your third query:

The love marriage usually happens with the association of the 5th lord

with the 7th or that of their respective houses.

An arranged marriage happens in most other cases. A point to check is

the association of 9th house with the 7th. 9th house represents dharma

and can help in a marriage that is done vidhi purvak with the

blessings of the elders.

To your 2nd query:

Bhagawaan's ways are subtle, it can bring a huge mass of people into

the same situation if the need be so. As per prominent Gurus of Vedic

Astrology, predictions of Death should not be made from the chart. It

is in the hands of Lord Shiva.

A small pointer: Decide on Alp ayu, madhya ayu and poorna ayu. Upon

selecting one judiously, check the dasha of the Marakas alongwith the

the antar dasha of the Trikona (5th or 9th and not 1st) or vice versa.

Check the quality of aspects and associations of the same. Rashi

drishti shows the environment, Graha dristi shows the power to strike.

Try to refrain from this exercise of knowing the death.

Bharat

hi bharateiya,

I have a concern here....Love marriages are very frequent in developed

countries like USA,Germany right...There are only 2-3% who go for

arranged marriages.

Astrology should go good for any country by that matter... I am sure

all the other 97% people in those countries will not have the 5th lord

and 7th lord combination.....

And also regarding prediction of deaths...There were many successful

astrologers who have predicted deaths of great people like Indira

Gandhi,Mahatma Gandhi and Rajiv Gandhi...not only great persons...But

also normal people who have balarishta..

Please clarify this issue and other issues that i had in my mind.

i am sure this would help in research of astrology.

Regards

Pramod.

Namaskaar Pramod,

You have raised very interesting issues and these would surely help

each of us gain more perspective into this divine science.

As far as I have read, we check the charts keeping in mind the

societal structure of the country in question. For example, if we

check the chart of an African, who are in majority black in color of

skin, we can hardly point out the skin color from the effects of the

planets. However, height, weight, etc. can be predicted.

In case of USA and other countries where majority marry out of love

there are certain things you can still check out:

1. Marriage out of love or out of convenience

2. Marriage to get status and power or money

Futhermore, the 5th and 7th combination will have genuine feelings of

love and concern for each other. If these are missing, you can see

other attractive forces such as physical or sexual attraction, wanting

to get over another relationship, etc.

Astrology currently is a probablistic science. In such, many of the

predictions are correct and many are not. Furthermore, we have been

given a faculty of Purushartha which can arrest certain events in our

life and change the nature of future. Understanding death from alpayu,

madhyaayu and poornaayu perspective is very useful as it can help the

people having alpayu and madhyayu to pray and avoid unnatural death.

But to pinpoint one's time of death is totally different thing, it

helps noone. Not the person who is to die or the person who love

him/her. No technique has evolved in astrology to pinpoint this time

with 100% accuracy. Even KP astrology does not have this level of

accuracy.

Therefore, it is my personal opinion not to delve into it. Let this

discussion be open and I would love to hear comments from other

learned members on this.

Regards

Bharat
