Namaste BalaGopal Ji, Vicky Ji, Sridhar Ji,

I can, generally attest to what Bala Gopal Ji is stating about mars' aspect on

the 7th house as I am currently going thru Rahu/Mars with mars in 12th.

While we know that there are many factors in a chart itself that can "nullify"

Kujadosha, and there are still others in ones' partners (like strong sat or

kujadosha) that nullify the dosha in case of marriage.

Having said that, what I wish to ask is "why" does it get nullified?

Please shed some light on this.

Dear Vicky and Sridhar Ji,

Before classifying anyone as "manglik" (which is a possibility of 7/12

combinations, excluding exceptions), it helps describing the nature

of Mars and its function.

When Mars activates, it has a graha drishti to the 7th House. The

native will be extremely protective of the partner as if in a

defensive stance, that could come across as dominating.

Another example:

Mars in the 7th (maran sthaana) has argala on its natural 4th House

(Bhoomi Sthaana) and people with such may become very protective of

the household after marriage.

Vicky Ji can confirm if he has felt the same around 27 -- 28 and 1 of

such cycles will end around 29.

Whole chart has to be seen, and above is just some introductory points.

Thank you.

Bala Gopal.

But at the same time Mars is placed in its own house( scorpio), which

means that its mangalik dosh gets cancelled out( since Mars is placed

at 4th). But again, Jupiter is aspecting Mars, which may increase the

intensity of Mangalik dosh. This is something contradictory and this

where I got stcuk.

Dear Gauruji

It is not easy to answer WHY for any phenomenon of astrology. One only knows

the

fact, gathethered from elders, or from writings in panchangas etc.

At present one can give only plausible reasons for the WHY.

Namaste,

The little my mind knows is as follows:-

Marriage is an act of Dharma (perhaps this is why we look at D9, Navamasa or the

"9th" division to learn more closely about ones' self, spouse and marital life).

In general afflictions to the 9th house of dharma may indicate some/serious

troubles in marriage.

1, 2, 4, 7, 8, 12 are houses related to marriage/family life (w.r.t.lagna/moon).

Now mars is a fiery planet which causes disturbance in married life when

positioned in any of these houses.

How does it do that can perhaps be answered to some extent., excessive

sexuality, anger leading to extra-marital affairs by ones' self or the partner

by its placement in 1st, 7, or 12 houses. Constant quarrels and fights and even

life threatening situations on account of its placement in 2, 4, 8 houses. All

these are threats to conjugal bliss.

The question I ask is "why" does mars behave is such a manner?

Natural 9th Zodiac sign is Sagittarius owned by Deva guru Jupiter representing

the dharma, so there is no surprise that any association of Jupiter to the 7th

house or its lord, or Mars (in case of kujadosha) is marriage saving.

Having said that, I know very little to be sure and ask all the learned to guide me.

Dear Padmanu

Your Mars dosha is nullified by two exceptions. 1. Mars is in sign of Sun

2. jupiter casts an aspect on Mars.

No mars dosha, so no problems.

god bless you
