Guest guest
HareRamaKrishna Gaurav Ji, Perhaps we are in agreement, but the way you wrote seems a bit vague... In refernce to the below: >In general, wearing a gemstone is an attempt to attain exalation for it. > When a planet is exalted, it is happy. That is the goal anyways, to make it > happy so that it behaves itself in relation to a specific chart. > > Having said that, may the learned guide my understanding, > "happiness" and "sadness" are subjective terms that do not capture the essence of the role of the grahas (seizers). You do not want to exalt the Maarakas, for example, which will lead to ill health or could kill you. You are right that the entire chart should be studied. Whether the person favours remedial measures relating to the tan ....man ......yan ...can also be gauged from the chart. Mantra Japam is 1 approach. It may not be best suited (e.g. person is unfamiliar or cannot easily pronounce the words..) Thank you. vedic astrology, yobrevol@a... wrote: > Namaste Learned, > > A complete look at the chart can only reveal if recommending a stone is in > order or not, let along which stone and where it has to be worn. Guest guest
Namaste Sri. BalaGopala ji, In response to your mail, Yes, I am in agreement that one would not want to exalt a Markara. As a result, one would be very careful in wearing a gemstone of a severe markara. Remedial form based on the judgement of chart is precisely what I was referring too. Blindly wearing a gemstone for a garaha as a remedy may not be the best option always. Similarly, as you say, if an non-Hindi speaking native clearly is going to have issues correctly pronouncing Hindi words, then it would be unwise to give him a mantra japa which is bound to yield fruitless results. Now the big question is : Can wearing gemstones for particular malefic garaha decrease their effect on oneself ? In that case we are offering shanti to that garaha, and perhaps it may be better to ask the native to donate the gem instead. Having said that, May I please request you to guide my understanding, Namaste; Gaurav Jain
