Guest guest
Hi, Can you use yogas in chandra lagna chart. I mean...can you view them from the chandra lagna chart. Like, you don't have Sarawati yoga in the main chart but when you view it from the chandra lagna, you have the Saraswati yoga. Is that valid? I just want to know if you can check out yogas from the chandra lagna. Raymond
Guest guest
Raymond, Chandra langa (Moon Sign) is amongst, one of the most important Veshaish lagnas (special ascendants) in natal horoscopy. Therefore few yogas are equally valuable from lagna as well from chandra lagna, viz.; Adhi yoga, Amala yoga, shubhkartari yoga etc. Most of the Yogas are considered from ascendant only but Sage Parashara mentioned that houses (and planetary positions) can be reckoned from that special ascendants therefore yogas may be treated from the Moon sign. Similarly some of Jyotish classic (e.g Jataka Deshmarga) holds that a horoscope should simulataneously judge w.r.t. Chandra lagna. But effect of yogas (reckoned from Moon) would manifest more at mental plane as Moon reveals our mental make-up.
