Dear Sanjay Ji, Mr. Narasimha Rao and learned Members,

 

There are one or two queries one has about the UL. If there are

categorical replies possible, one would be grateful.

 

1. In the analysis below, Mr. Narasimha Rao considerd the first

UL 'wasted'. Is there a standard way to come to this understanding?

When is

the UL wasted and when is it intact? What qualifies as a serious

relationship? Should the intention to marry be there from both

sides? Is staying together a criterion? Explanation on this would be

very welcome and is seriously needed.

 

2. In COVA, the first example in the Chapter on the 7th House,

Sanjay Ji fixes the probable Lagna of the spouse based on Mangal in

the 7th from the UL and Ketu in the 5th, as a possible Mars Rashi.

This is understood to mean that Grahas in the UL, the 7th and trines

can modify the Lagna.

 

The question is this: Mr. Narasimha Rao states in the example below

that since one of the ULs has the 7th from it stronger, the trines

from the 7th should be taken to fix the Lagna of the spouse. Is this

an established principle? If the 7th from the UL is stronger, then

should we not take the trines from the UL at all for the probable

Lagna of the spouse?

 

If Sanjay Ji and PVR can take some time out of their very busy

schedules to explain this, I would be immensely grateful.
