Our Challenge: Pick out correctly – Within a Margin of five percent error – those males, females, the living and the dead from a set of ten palm prints or ten astrological charts giving the exact time of birth correct the minute, and places of birth with their latitudes and long longitudes. This challenge is ruled by the following conditions: 1) The person who accepts the challenge, whether he or she wants our reward or not, should deposit Rs. 3000/ as an entry fee to us. We insist on this fee, which will be refunded in the event of his or her winning the test, just to deter the inundation of amateur contestants chasing cheap publicity, who would waste our valuable time, money and energy. 2) A person will be considered an acceptor of the challenge only after he or she makes the earnest deposit, and no communication will be made with anyone who fails to do so. 3) After the deposit of submission fee, the claims of person will be tested by us, in public, on a mutually appointed day. All tests will be held in our local town. 4) If a person fails in the test or to face the test, his deposit will be forfeited. Rationality means for every effect there is a cause. In that sense, please answer some of my small scientific queries: 1. Who is "I" when I am sleeping? Where does the world go? Why can't I have any notion of the world? 2. What is the core of the earth? Is it molten, solid, gas, iron, or anything else? 3. Why does a coal become a diamond under pressure and temperature? Why do chemical reactions take place the way they do? 4. How million of reactions take place without your knowing to achieve sight in an eye? 5. Why is there evolution? How do you prove that it is not devolution? 6. How do you base your life only on 1/3rd of waking state and not on the other two states? 7. Who are you? What is your reality beyond your name and what you "believe" yourself to be. 8. Is psychology a science? 9. Why do diseases happen? Why do people die? Why old age occurs? Why do cell have life? Why does an organism that wanted life suddenly gives up? 10. How life which means "no death" ends in death? Or does it? 11. Tell us the full meaning of E=mc2? Do you see it as Einstein did? Why is there is difference in your brain and Einstein's brain? How from ordinary father and mother he became a stalwart and you remain challenging astrologers. Answer these questions and lord will not require you to challenge anyone. There are scientists and doctors who are astrologers too. I have with a discussion between Sri Rabindra Nath Tagore and Albert Einstein, where Sri Tagore is teaching Einstein about Reality. Somehow Einstein understands, you don't. It is kind of you to have put them up but perhaps it is just too kind considering the quality of 'rationality' put up, or the lack of it. I was witness to a particularly infuriating sample of it on Star TV last year, when a similar rationalist was hard pressed to even articulate his thoughts properly. One would think that for a respectable logical premise to accrue, you would need taut langauge with major, minor and middle terms. Also, I feel apart from any other factors that may be active at the moment, the Rashi of emancipation Meena is assailed by the Tamas of Rahu and Mars. Jupiter is in the intellectual Kanya where he may not feel particularly delighted to be, especially as He is aspected by Shani from Karka Rashi. However, if there is some respectable argument thrown up against Jyotish there may be Guru wanting to speak up in rational language, with some intuitive response/ a fiery one since He is conjunct Ketu. I had read many years ago that logic/ rationality were like a taxi which you could hire to get home but could not take inside the house. For that it was necessary to enter each room on foot. What other magical art could exist apart from Jyotish to so wonderfully transcend psychology, science, fiction, logic, and countless other very useful subjects known to mankind? There is nothing in my very limited understanding that explains the destined nature of the fabric of human life as Jyotish does. I find there is nothing even close to Jyotish when it comes to holding up the Cosmic Mirror up to Man to show him how much truth there is in the idea of Spiritual Reality as it exists as a necessary correlate to his life. It is in this light that I find the idea of doubting exceptionally learned men in itself dubious. Best wishes. Do you challenge scientists to prove Newton's third law of motion? The fact is we know science and we see something beyond it too which science has no clue about. In science, "I" is the observer. How can it observe correctly if it has notions about itself. One does not understand oneself yet tries to make us understand the rest. We are exploring and fine tuning our techniques here...isn't this forum for such activity? Many a times people with half baked knowledge start practicing as astrologers. Jyotish is the science of indications. People do get benefit out of it and that is why people know this science. But the way you are taking it up is also not the right way to attack an ancient science. Guru Nanak said, Nanak dukhia sab sansar - soi sukhi jinuh naam aadhar. People are in trouble from time immemoratial and people are getting benefitted out of it.
