Can you kindly explain how/why "Guru in 3rd house causes the native to separate

from the family". Is this more of a general rule or a special case( in this

natives chart)?

I meant the gochar Guru is in Virgo, which is 3rd

house from Kataka / Cancer.

Dear SatyaNarayana Gupta & srinath

4th house shows Home and 12th from that is 3rd which

shows short travels. hence seperation from family.

Normaly during the periods of planets influencing 3rd

house short travels will be involved.

Thanks for the clarifications. Interestingly this rule seems to explain my

moving to the US in 2002, during the MD and AD of 3rd house Jupiter (3L and 6L

for my Lagna).
