US Attorney General - Alberto Gonzales for Supreme Court ?

Hi Manjunath,

 

Looks like you follow cable news pretty closely. However Gonzalez's

prospects at even getting picked looks somewhat dim at the moment.

Suresh,

 

I do follow news. As in most cases, media's guess is all over the

map. So I do not give much importance. I will not be surprised if

President Bush picks Gonzales in the coming weeks. All I am saying

is that Gonzales will get a higher post in October.

 

Bush will get, most likely,totally three Supreme Court appointments

to make (my opinion). Sandra Day O'Connor is gone, Rehnquist will

retire any time after Oct 1, 2005. There will be one more.

 

Time will tell if my predictions will come true or go wrong.
