Guest guest
Respected Sir, Thank you for writing in though the message was posted earlier. Can I ask some more doubts based on your reply? You said "Kundalini is something which can rise involuntarily(I mean with no apparent voluntary effort of the person concerned), or can be made to rise through other spiritual means." Why is Kundalini not rising voluntarily for sadhakas but rising involuntarily for (normal)people who has not even reached the lower level of conciousness? I mean people whom we considered as great, like sri ram krishna paramhamsa and aurobindo etc had to do severe austerities to attain such state, but several people who havent even reached there are having voluntary Kundalini rise. What a paradox! If you could help me once gain, I would be greatful. The thing is that during the pinnacle of this experience, the sadhaka experiences the truth of "Pinda Brahmanda" However, occassionally there are a few temporarily unfortunate sadhakas who having forced the Shakthi to rise, have problems with it. The primary problem will be "Kama". If that is conquered then Anahata Shakti Pravesh of the Kundalini is easy. If not then the lower three Chakras become its domain. Once Anahata is reached, there is almost always no return. The Indriyas start to focus internally and the wonder is that when that occurs the focus is fixed internally as well. If the sadhaka maintains progress which can as quick as a few days, or may take lifetimes, eventually Shakti meets Shiva and the person becomes a personification of Sadashiva. He then can instruct others with ease. The Rishis know him and he knows them. However, I wish to also say that an awakening without Yama and Niyama is somewhat more dangerous for the Sadhaka. A study of the human condition and the realisation of transience of the Universe as well as of the principal question "Who am I" is essential. Otherwise the identification of the Shakti occurs with the physical body and the mind also identifies with it. The sadhaka gets Siddhies the use of which bind him ever greater to the mundane. If the sadhaka of Kundalini starts asking himself the question" Who am I?" everyday, one day the truth dawns that "I am not the physical body or the mind"" I am Atman" and he experiences this. That is when the sadhaka gets " Brahmagyana" and this is the the highest condition which can occur. A Brahmavetta becomes virtually God himself, his Kundalini
