Guest guest
Mr.Devika, It is the general hypothesis that departed souls present over, at a height of 16 feet above the cadaver and watch vigilantly the services, gesticulations and comments passed by the mourner till the funeral rites are completed (Garudapuranam). It is obvious for the reasons above the mourner touch and worships the dead. Garudapurana further advocates the time durations for completion of funeral rites for various sects of people and the procedures to be followed in this regard. If not followed, they earn the wrath of the deceased and the possibility of being exposed to ‘predha Sabha’ is imminent. On the basis of the above reference one may reason for, as why the warring countries share among themselves, the bodies of dead soldiers from the time immemorial. Presumably for an honorable send off. At this juncture it may not be out of context to mention that after the advent of Medical education, civil / criminal procedures; all these have given a goby to the honorable disposal of dead, results in an efflux in the rate of birth with Predha Sabha. It could be generally observed from among the Astrologers that when one identifies predha sabha in a horoscope the other questions –that how come it is possible for the one birth alone be exposed to predha sabha while the same planetary constellations prevails for 6 months or more ?! Such questions shall not be met with simple answers. Guest guest
Jai Sai Ram Dear Devika Ji When the soul departs from the body it is understood that the soul has been taken away by the creator(God) and is with the God where everyone are equal. As we cant see the soul with the naked eyes we respect the body where the soul resided (Body) till the person is alive. Thats why irrespective of the person dead is known/unknown, Rich/poor,his nauture,good/cruel or his status in the society, The dead person is respected by touching the feet of dead body or If we are away and cant touch the feet then a 'Namaskaar' in the air towards the dead body or Completely away from the scene a few seconds of 'closure of eyes' as the mark of respect to the departed soul. Views expressed are general & non-astrological.
