Guest guest
My regards to all learned astrologers. I am relatively new to the study of astrology. While reading a tutorial on Kalchakra Dasa by Shri PVR Narasimha Rao, I came across his words: "Let us salute to the power of Jupiter, who, at the time of this lecture, occupies own rasi, own constellation and exalted navamsa. The teacher of Gods occupies his own sign in 6 out of 16 vargas (divisions) and his exaltation sign in 3 other vargas!" Exploring the Jagannath Hora software, the Vimsopaka Bala and the Vaisheshikamsas, I came across a chart in which Jupiter is in : Dasa Varga (10) Shodasa Varga (16) Sapta Varga (7) Shad Varga (6) 8-Brahmaloka 10-Uchchaisrava 5-Chatra 4-Chaamara The Vimsopaka bala for Jupiter are; Dasa Varga (10) Shodasa Varga (16) Sapta Varga (7) Shad Varga (6) 19.70 (98.50%) 18.80 (94.00%) 19.55 (97.75%) 19.40 (97.00%) As far as my limited understanding goes, the Vimsopaka and the Vaisheshikamsas are one of the several parameters to evaluate the strength of various grahas in a chart. These excellent variables for Jupiter perhaps suggest that the native will be fortunate to be blessed by the Deva Guru in all walks of his life and will be guided on the right path. I would be grateful if I could be enlightened if my understanding is correct. Also, if this has a more deeper meaning than this limited understanding. I would also like to know how the percentage values of the Vimsopaka Bala are obtained and that what these high 95 percent plus values suggest. rishi
