Namaste Dhananjayan,

Thank you for sharing that information. I understand the tying of

the big toes doesn't have to do with the escape-way for the soul

now. Could it be probably that the feet symbolize 'Kaalaa' or the

time the soul has spent on earth in that form and hence deserves

reverence.. Anyway, I would be glad if you can mention some more on

the following statement of yours : "It is said in the case of

Saadhus who

attain jeeva Samadhi, their Prana in Dhananjaya roopa

brack opens `Kaphalam'on the 3rd day and reaches the

Padmakamalam." Could you refer to any web source to read in detail

about this info?

Regards,

Madhusudan

Dear Sri Dhananjayan,

I found the following on Jeeva Samadhi interesting, although I

couldn't find information on why Sadhus decide to enter a Jeeva

Samadhi.

http://www.sadguru.com/lec7.html

However it seems like Jeeva Samadhi enables a Sadhu to bless his

devotees for much, much longer than possible when the Sadhu attains

Samadhi naturally due to aging. Thank you for mentioning about Jeeva

Samadhi.

Regards,

Madhusudan
