Guest guest
Please forgive me if I am wrong somewhere. I am just a student and I hope all of you will treat me like one. I am reading PVR-ji's book, page #91, lesson #21. It is mentioned that combust does not matter for Mars, and is not bad for Jupiter.I would be obliged if you could explain if this true only for the mundane chart (as the chart in discussion is George Bush's nomination chart) or is it true for rashi charts in general. best regards to everyone kshitijOn 8/14/05, Twinkle Vijaywargiya <mrs_vijaywargiya (AT) (DOT) co.in> wrote: thanks! but is there any remedy to get the full benefit of abeneficial planet getting combus. in this case jupiter is zero..sowhat will be the effect of its mahadasha and antardasha?wearingyellow sapphire or doing mantra japa will help or not? --- e <e (AT) sancharnet (DOT) in> wrote:Dear V,A combust planet is Zero ( Sandhistho Na Phalaprada ). Guest guest
Friends, Surya symbolizes the agni (cosmic fire). Fire has a unique characteristic. It is indispensable for sustenance but on the other hand excessive fire (over heat) may burn every thing. Whereas absent or lack of fire leads to darkness (i.e. one finds unable to get social acceptance, fame or popularity with the help of combust planet's significance). Though it may be good for esoteric and inner development. If any planet is combust, it is akin to burnt i.e. in vikala avastha (means in distress state). But as a result, the Sun attains more power and qualities of burnt planet. Like adding fuel intensifying the fire where shape and colour of flames depends upon the type of fuel. Bhavartha Ratnakara mentioned [XII:23]; conjunction of Sun with other planet confers wealth and prosperity (according to the nature of burnt planet) in the Dasha of Sun, but combust planet period shall give ordinary results. Opposite holds in case of combustion of Mercury. More or less all the Jyotish classics state that a combust planet results in no good. But combustion does not necessarily cause any evil, provided the Sun is functional benefic in the chart. Regards, M. Guest guest
Hello Imran and friends, What is the exact effect of mercury being combust. I have a native whos mercury is 4degs apart from the Sun in the first house which is Taurus. Actually there are other planets in the 1st house as well which are Saturn and venus ,but they are not combust. I think mercury is an imp planet as it is the lord of 2nd and the 5th. Best Regards Nilesh --- "M.Imran" <astroimran wrote: > > Friends, > > > > Surya symbolizes the agni (cosmic fire). Fire has a > unique characteristic. astro38
Hi, I'm very late to answer this . Did your Jupiter mahadasa started already? If so how is it going? If you listen to Umag Taneja's ( famous Nadi astrologer)classes, what he says is the combust planets give same results of non- combust planets, it gives the results of the Nakhatra and sub lord that planet has in that particular house. In your case, if the jupiter has good nakhatra and sub lord, no worries about the combustion. Thanks
