My query is which planets make a person

astrologer.which positions [houses]r to be looked

into horoscope for this .what yog[i mean which

combination of planet] make a person a astrologer.

Ketu gives you psychic ability. I have seen many famous astrologers

have Ketu sun conjunction.

the palnet mercury is required to be powerful and

in a kendra to make one astrologer is what i read

somewhere.

may be because mercury is representative of mathematical

ability.

but, i feel that it may not be a necessity now a days,

as the present astrologers need not make any calcualitons

themsleves... as computer sysytems are avialable.

however, a strong jupiter aspecting the lagna and the

fifth house, which stands for intuitive capacity also

are required.

in addition to these, the 'daivagna'that is , the astrologer

is supposed to be as pure and clean as possible in

mental and physical planes.

the qualities and the mindset required by an astrologer

appeared in the form an aricle some months back, in the

EXPRESS STAR TELLER MAGAZINE.

In my opinion 5th house & 8th house are the main considerations for study of astrology & delineations.

 

5th house indicates prudence, wisdom and ability to analyse.

 

8th house is relates to searching & culling out issues / things from depth / darkness/ hidden matters.

 

Certainly a persons is involved in study of astrology & the relatedf subjects when periods/ sub-periods related to these two houses are in operation.

In total 8th house, mercury and some relation of mercury with 8th bhava can make a person intrested in occult science

 

Some say there should be some relation between 2nd bhava and 8th bhava

Mer in 8th, as per prashar and rishi vashisth mer in 8th makes person an evil minded, miserable,bereft of brothers and sick, and if rahu is not favourable then this results in a bandhan yog and the native may have to be in jail.
