Google Earth ( http://earth.google.com ) has recently updated their free client

software and high-resolution imagery data ( 3.0.0616 beta 16 Sep 2005 ).

 

Included in this hi-res data update are Indian cities like Mumbai, Bangalore,

Hyderbad, New Delhi. For the full list of these cities, scroll to the bottom of

this message.

 

These hi-res images are absolutely stunning and reveal extremely detailed satellite imagery.

 

This is an incredible learning and research tool for astrology. For example, you

to find precise geographical co-ordinates (2 decimal places of an arc second)

and elevation info and compare them with those generated by different

astrological software.

 

To give you an idea of the quality of the imagery, you can see very clearly the

markings on submarines, battleships and aircraft carriers docked in Mumbai,

India at :

18:55:21 North, 72:50:31 East.

 

Caution : Google Earth is still a beta software. As such, it may create problems

to the computer you installed it on. Please do your own risk assessment before

installing this software by learning more about this software and its

requirements from the official website.
