Upapada matching for marriage compatibility

Namaskar,

 

I have read about the Upapada matching guidelines for checking

marriage compatibility. How does it work for second marriages for one

or both persons?

 

For example, in the normal case, UL of native should be in trines or

opposite to Lagna of spouse and Lagna of native should be in trines or

opposite to UL of spouse.

 

Suppose it is the second marriage for the native:

1. Do we look at 8th from UL of native and Lagna of spouse?

2. What about the compatibility between Lagna of native and UL of

spouse? Does that remain the same?

 

My feeling is that we will still use Lagna of native and UL of spouse,

but for the reverse matching we have to use something other than UL of

native. Which house do we use?
