Guest guest
I have visited your web site and it is really informative. I have a few queries for you: 1) Are the Devi Mahatmya and the Durga Saptashati one and the same? 2) You have mentioned that : Om Iym hreem kleem Chamandayai, viche nama. This manthra is of very great power and should not be chanted unless, it is taught by a Guru. Does the same principle apply for reading the Devi Mahatmya as well? I mean do u have to be initiated by a Guru for reading the Devi Mahatmya? Do we get the same results if a Guru reads it aloud as we listen to it? Today I have completed creating a web site www.geocities.com/ramya475 where all my translations(more than 40) are given. This web site contains many great sthothras which include Nava Graha Sthothram, Adithya Hrudayam Vishnu Sahasranamam, Lalitha Sahasranamam, Soundarya Lahari, Shivananda Lahari, DEvi Mahatmyam, Sundara Kandam etc. There is also a collection of daily prayers under the heading Nithya Sthothra Parayana. I request all of you to visit the web site and also bring it to the notice of your friends who may be interested. With best wishes, Ramachander Music Unlimited - Access over 1 million songs.
