Dear lists,

Happy Vijaya Dasami to all of you!

I was actually thinking of the reverse of the 1992 ticket for 2008, viz

Gore-Clinton ticket instead of Clinton-Gore!

Yes, HR Clinton has some nice raja yogas being activated in 2008. I was thinking

of her as the Vice President. Though she seems to be the darling of the media

right now, I am expecting that her party will become nervous about her

prospects and she will have to settle for the VP slot. I believe that Gore may

come back into picture in the summer of 2007.

Yes, time will tell.

Dear DB,

Actually, we delayed and took a photo too late. I believe there may still be a

decent photo, though not as good/clear as what we saw with the naked eye. I'll

dig out and post it after a few days. Yes, the "peacock and snake in fire"

photo is quite fascinating.

Dear Ranjan,

I did receive your email. I have no idea why it should cause any heartburn to

any sane and balanced seeker of truth. It is ok to follow Sri KN Rao in the

antardasa calculation of Chara dasa, but it IS valid to question his basis when

there is a clear guideline given by Parasara and Sri Rao did something totally

different. It is not a question of respect or disrespect, but that of scholarly

examination of a research that contradicts classics. BPHS contains important

guidelines on chara dasa, not only relating to antardasa computation but also

relating to interpretation. Anyway, I will reply to your private mail

privately.

May Jupiter's light shine on us, Narasimha
